Here are trade proposals based on our Dynasty Trade Value Chart. And here are who our analysts feel will win these trades.
Jaylen Waddle for Jonathan Taylor
Which side wins?
Team getting Jaylen Waddle
- Mike Maher
- Andrew Erickson
- Joe Pisapia
- Ryan Wormeli
Team getting Jonathan Taylor
- Pat Fitzmaurice
Takeaways
My associates prefer Waddle; I’m the lone wolf who would rather have Taylor. Elite RBs are hard to find. Yes, Taylor was disappointing in 2022, but a pair of ankle injuries were mostly to blame. Taylor scored 32 touchdowns in his first 32 NFL games. He averaged 127.7 yards from scrimmage per game in 2021. As good as Waddle is, there are other receivers who can give you what Waddle provides. There aren’t many RBs who can match Taylor’s ceiling.

Jaylen Waddle for DeVonta Smith & Rashee Rice
Which side wins?
Team getting Jaylen Waddle
- Joe Pisapia
- Andrew Erickson
Team getting DeVonta Smith & Rashee Rice
- Mike Maher
- Pat Fitzmaurice
- Ryan Wormeli
Takeaways
I think Waddle is the best player in the deal, but he’s not *that* much better than Smith. Rice, and intriguing rookie from SMU who landed in a great spot with the Chiefs, more than bridges the gap between the two former University of Alabama receivers.

Jaylen Waddle for Travis Etienne Jr. & Antonio Gibson
Which side wins?
Team getting Jaylen Waddle
- Mike Maher
- Andrew Erickson
- Pat Fitzmaurice
- Joe Pisapia
- Ryan Wormeli
Team getting Travis Etienne Jr. & Antonio Gibson
- N/A
Takeaways
RB value can be fleeting in dynasty. I like Travis Etienne, and I’m an original Antonio Gibson truther, but I couldn’t part with a young receiver as good as Waddle for a pair of running backs who don’t exactly have a stranglehold on their respective backfields. In two NFL seasons, the 24-year-old Waddle has thrived in two distinct roles — as a short-area possession receiver in his rookie year, and as a vertical receiver in Year 2.
