Spencer Strider Under 9.5 Strikeouts

Spencer Strider has been a strikeout machine this season; there is no denying that. He has thrown at least seven strikeouts in every single one of his appearances, including in his last start when he went just 4.0 innings. Yet, we cannot, in good conscience, take an over that doesn’t hit unless he strikes out 10.

Strider has struck out 10 or more four times this season in 13 starts. He has finished with nine strikeouts five times. The current Tigers lineup has only faced Strider a combined eight times, and they have struck out in four of those at-bats. Strider will have an advantage tonight, but we still like the under.
