Sam Howell mic’d up during OTAs, showing command of the huddle
Head coach Ron Rivera stated that they have mic’d up Sam Howell and he has proven he has better command of the huddle.
Fantasy Impact
The team is listening in on how the young quarterback calls and breaks the huddle and operates the offense. Howell appeared in one game last season, completed 11-of-19 passes for 169 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in a loss to Dallas. Howell is the favorite to open the season as the starter in Washington.

DeAndre Hopkins could have interest from Giants
When asked about the team’s interest in DeAndre Hopkins, head coach Brian Daboll stated that the front office will continue to explore everything to make the team better.

Rumors are currently running wild around the league regarding Hopkins, as there are numerous teams that have interest in the free agent wide receiver. The 31-year-old would add a veteran presence to a young wide receiver room. Hopkins would immediately slot into the top role with the Giants should the team land Hopkins prior to the 2023 season.

Kyle Trask reportedly down 5-10 pounds this offseason
Kyle Trask has dropped another 5-10 pounds during the offseason. Trask is focused on increasing his mobility in the Buccaneers’ new offense that features more rollouts and bootlegs.
Fantasy Impact
Trask is in a competition with Baker Mayfield for the team’s starting quarterback job. Head coach Todd Bowles is going to have Trask and Mayfield alternate days as the stater in camp. Trask would have value in two quarterback formats if he were to win the starting job.
