Fantasy Football Draft Values: Diontae Johnson, D’Andre Swift (2023)

Fantasy Football Draft Values: Diontae Johnson, D’Andre Swift (2023)

If you’re like me and started playing fantasy football way back when, then you probably have a longstanding league hosted on ESPN’s platform. And while I can’t speak to the types of players on ESPN vs. other platforms like Yahoo!, CBS or Sleeper, there are always nuances in ADP between them.

In this article, I’ll take you through some players who I think could come at a bargain if you’re drafting on ESPN in PPR formats.

Over the course of the offseason you will be able to use our ADP (Average Draft Position) tool to determine players that present values and reaches on popular league host sites. The tool combines the updated ADP for different sites along with our latest Expert Consensus Rankings (ECR) to provide players to target and avoid based on average draft position. You can also use our mock draft simulator to sync your league and complete fantasy football mock drafts against the current ADP of your league host.

Best ADP Values on ESPN

Here are the best values on ESPN.

Diontae Johnson (WR – PIT)

I have a feeling I will be pounding the table for Diontae Johnson in just about every article I write this summer. Johnson is 61st in ADP on ESPN right now and 70th in our ECR. No disrespect to our experts, but that just feels too low. Johnson’s floor is much higher in a PPR format, as he’s hauled in at least 86 balls in each of the last three years. I expect some better touchdown luck after he was blanked last season. If Kenny Pickett takes a step forward, Johnson will crush this ADP.

D’Andre Swift (RB – PHI)

Swift is another player I’ll probably have on a lot of teams this season. A year ago, Swift was a first or second-round pick. Now, he can’t even crack the top 65 on ESPN. Our ECR has him 51st overall, which is plenty of indication on its own. But I think the souring on Swift has gone too far. He’s in a better situation in Philadelphia and could be a monster in RPOs with Jalen Hurts. Plus, his pass-catching chops give him even more value in PPR. The Eagles are smart and know they don’t need to feed Swift the ball 20 times a game. If he gets 12-to-15 touches per game, he’ll put up strong numbers.
