MLB is on center stage tonight. All 30 clubs are playing, starting at 6:40 pm ET. So, there are a ton of player pick ’em selections available at Underdog Fantasy tonight. Combining the options, the following four picks were the most exciting selections.

Cody Bellinger: 2.0 Hits + Runs + RBIs – Higher
The Cubs fixed Bellinger. He’s hitting at a level commensurate with his MVP campaign. According to FanGraphs, he has seven homers, a .295 batting average, .373 OBP, .295 ISO, 10.0 BB%, 16.4 K%, 154 wRC+, .257 xBA and .490 xSLG. And in 67 plate appearances against righties, Bellinger has a .305 batting average, .358 OBP, .220 ISO, 7.5 BB%, 17.9 K% and 135 wRC+.
Conversely, Trevor Williams is dreadful against left-handed batters. Since last year, lefties have drilled Williams for a .356 OBP, .513 slugging and .372 wOBA. Thus, Bellinger should stay hot tonight against Williams.
Tanner Bibee: 5.0 Strikeouts – Higher
The Guardians cut Bibee loose in his big-league debut. The rookie righty threw 91 pitches in 5.2 innings. Bibee held the Rockies to one run on six hits, zero walks and eight strikeouts.
Bibee was dominant in his quick ascension through the minors. In 28 starts totaling 148.0 innings in the minors, he had a 2.13 ERA, 2.78 FIP, 0.97 WHIP, 11.31 K/9 and 32.2 K%. Per FanGraphs, Bibee had a 15.6 SwStr% in High-A, 13.9 SwStr% in Double-A and 13.0 SwStr% in Triple-A. In his first start for the Guardians, he had a 12.1 SwStr% and 33.0 CSW%.
Thankfully, the Yankees provide him with significant strikeout potential tonight. The Bronx Bombers have a 24.1 K% against right-handed pitchers this season. Bibee has the stuff to pick apart the Yankees, making his over for 5.0 strikeouts an inviting selection.
Paul Goldschmidt: 9.5 Fantasy Points – Higher
After winning the NL MVP last year, Goldschmidt isn’t resting on his laurels. Instead, he has four homers, three stolen bases, a .405 OBP, .204 ISO and 153 wRC+ in 126 plate appearances. And Goldy’s work against lefties is unbelievable. Since 2021, he’s had a .456 OBP, .328 ISO and 217 wRC+ against lefties.
Patrick Sandoval is a good matchup for Goldschmidt, too. The lefty’s 3.16 ERA in five starts this year overstates the quality of his work. Instead, his 4.24 xERA, 4.72 xFIP and 5.02 SIERA are more indicative of what to expect from Sandoval. Additionally, Goldschmidt’s run values against all of the pitches in Sandoval’s arsenal are excellent. Therefore, he should feast tonight.
Mason Miller: 5.5 Strikeouts – Higher
Miller has made two starts for the A’s. The electrifying rookie struck out five and six in 4.1 and 4.0 innings in his first taste of the majors. The A’s haven’t allowed him to approach triple-digit pitches. However, he threw 81 and 86 pitches. So, they’ve permitted Miller to throw an adequate number of pitches.
Miller uses a four-pitch mix to attack opponents, headlined by a heater averaging 99.1 mph. The righty’s plate discipline numbers are good. Yet, his pitch modeling is more eye-catching. According to FanGraphs, Miller’s 128 Stuff+ is the fourth-best among starting pitchers, trailing only Jacob deGrom (160 Stuff+), Shohei Ohtani (131 Stuff+) and Spencer Strider (130 Stuff+).
The matchup is ideal for Miller to strut his strikeout stuff tonight. The Mariners have the second-highest strikeout rate (26.3 K%) against righties this year. As a result, Miller can strike out more than 5.5 batters, even if the A’s limit him to 80-90 pitches again tonight.
