Marcus Smart Over 4.5 Assists

The Celtics’ offense was disastrous on Tuesday, but they have enough weapons to knot this series up at three and send it back to Boston. The key will be getting the ball in the hands of playmakers and getting a little bit of rhythm.

That all starts with Smart, who averaged 6.3 assists per game during the regular season. He saw that number drop to 5.2 per game against the Hawks, mainly because he had just 10 assists in the final three games of the series. He’s coming off a four-assist performance, and we think he will look to dish the ball to the scorers on his team in this win-or-go-home game.
