We have our first elimination games of the second round! We actually have two elimination games to talk about, with Los Angeles and Miami both trying to grab road wins to close out their respective series. I already put money on both of these home teams to extend the series because I have a hard time believing New York and Golden State will lose in these must-win home games. The Game 6s are another story, but we’re hoping to talk about that on Friday! With that in mind, let’s look at the odds that I bet for this Wednesday slate!

Injury Report
Core Plays
Stephen Curry (PG – GSW): $10,000 DraftKings, $10,400 FanDuel
Chef Curry couldn’t shoot in Game 4, but he was still the best player on the floor. The former MVP collected 31 points, 10 rebounds, 14 assists, and three steals en route to 76 DK points. We saw this guy drop 74 fantasy points in Game 7 of the Sacramento series, and it’s scary because Curry took 30 shots across 42 minutes on Monday. The best shooter of all time could play 45 minutes and take 30-plus shots, making him the best option on this slate. In 12 career elimination games, Curry is averaging 29.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, 7.1 assists, and 1.6 steals across 41 minutes a night.
Jimmy Butler (SF/PF – MIA): $9,700 DraftKings, $10,600 FanDuel
It’s shocking that Miami is just one win away from reaching the Eastern Conference Finals, but Playoff Jimmy is a major reason why. This All-Star has scored at least 56 DraftKings points in six of his last 13 games, generating a 54-point average in this postseason. The boost in production is no surprise because JB is being asked to do more with Herro and Oladipo both sidelined. We’re also seeing Butler play 40-45 minutes and take 20-25 shots a night, making him one of the safest plays on every slate.
Cash Game Considerations
Anthony Davis (PF/C – LAL): $10,600 DraftKings, $11,300 FanDuel
AD has always presented one of the highest upsides when he’s been able to stay healthy, and we’ve seen that a ton recently. The big man has scored at least 51 fantasy points in 13 of his last 18 games. He’s also flirting with a 60-point average in that span, playing 43 minutes in the most recent matchup. If this guy plays 40-45 minutes, he has the highest upside of any player on this slate.
Jalen Brunson (PG – NYK): $8,700 DraftKings, $9,000 FanDuel
The Knicks are staring at an elimination game here, so, you know Brunson will be feeling it. The All-Star snub has been rolling for two months now, averaging nearly 40 DK points per game in that span. We also saw Brunson drop 58 DraftKings points across 44 minutes in Game 4, and he’ll have to carry the load here. JB has also scored at least 37 DK points in 11 straight outings, totaling a 46-point average in that span.
GPP Targets
Kyle Lowry (PG – MIA): $5,300 DraftKings, $5,800 FanDuel
Lowry has been a stud player in the past, and he’s showing glimpses of that in this series. The former All-Star has scored at least 24 DK points in four straight games. That’s enough from such an affordable player, but it looks even better since he has a 32-point average across 28 minutes a night. That bump is far from surprising since Herro and Oladipo are both out, and it wouldn’t be shocking to see Lowry get better since he looks healthy for the first time in months.
Quentin Grimes (SG – NYK): $4,400 DraftKings, $4,300 FanDuel
This scares me to death, but it’s hard to overlook what happened in Game 4. Grimes started and played 42 minutes in that defeat. He scored just 23 DK points, but that sort of role is impossible to overlook for such a cheap player. We saw Grimes regularly play 35-40 minutes over the final months of the regular season, averaging 27 DK points per game in the 26 games he played at least 36 minutes. If he does that, you have a piece of the optimal lineup.
Value Plays
Draymond Green (PF/C – GSW): $6,300 DraftKings, $6,700 FanDuel
Green is the emotional leader of this team, and you know he’ll be motivated in this must-win Game 5. In 12 career elimination games, Green is averaging 12.3 points, 10.8 rebounds, 6.2 assists, 2.1 steals, and 1.2 blocks per game. That’s over 40 fantasy points per game, which is close to what we’ve seen recently. DG has at least 30 fantasy points in seven of his last eight games, averaging 34 DK points per game in that span.
Gary Payton (PG/SG – GSW): $3,800 DraftKings, $4,100 FanDuel
The Warriors have been doing some bizarre things with their lineups, but a start for GP in Game 4 is an encouraging sign. The defensive stud scored 22 DK points across 23 minutes in that surprise start. That might not sound like much, but it’s all you can ask for from such a cheap player. There aren’t many players in this price range worth considering, but using Payton will make it much easier to fit in studs like Butler, Curry, and Davis.
Advantageous Pricing
Jimmy Butler (SF/PF – MIA): $9,700 DraftKings, $10,600 FanDuel
Julius Randle (PF/C – NYK): $8,200 DraftKings, $7,300 FanDuel
Klay Thompson (SG – GSW): $6,900 DraftKings, $6,200 FanDuel
Anthony Davis (PF/C – LAL): $10,600 DraftKings, $11,300 FanDuel
