Danny Jansen exits early Wednesday
Danny Jansen exited Wednesday’s game against Tampa Bay with an apparent injury.
Fantasy Impact
Jansen did not return behind the plate after grounding out in the top of the fifth inning. The Blue Jays should provide more details on Jansen’s injury soon and fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now.
Jesse Garcia
Brandon Lowe absent again on Wednesday
Tampa Bay Rays infielder Brandon Lower is not in the starting lineup for the second straight day Wednesday against the Blue Jays.
Fantasy Impact
Lowe was a late scratch Tuesday with a stiff neck, and whether or not it’s his neck or the fact left-hander Yusei Kikuchi is on the mound for the Jays, he will not start for the second consecutive day. Lowe is hitting just .200 on the season but has eight homers, two steals, a 12.6% BB%, and a palatable .713 OPS across 42 appearances.
Brenton Kemp
Brandon Woodruff (shoulder) resumes throwing Wednesday
Brandon Woodruff had to take a 4-5 day pause from throwing but he was back playing catch on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
Woodruff been targeting the end of June to be pitching for the Brewers, but he still has to start throwing from long distances, toss some bullpen sessions and begin a rehab assignment. It sounds like July could be when he’ll be able to return to the Brewers starting rotation.

Luis Robert Jr. (hip) expected to return Thursday
White Sox manager Pedro Grifol said “tomorrow I’m expecting him to be ready to play,” of Luis Robert Jr., but that they’ll adjust if he’s still feeling any issue.
Fantasy Impact
Robert is sitting on Wednesday after leaving Tuesday’s game early due to a right hip injury. It sounds like he’ll only miss one game barring any setbacks.
