We have made it through another week of action, and there continue to be endless injuries we need to account for on our rosters. Unfortunately, there have also been a lot of solid and slow starts from players that leave us wondering what to do with those roster spots.
Each week I will highlight a few players to target in your weekly FAAB process, but know there are many others available and, more importantly, others that may be better fitting for your teams. If you have any questions, please ask me on Twitter (@bdentrek).
Remember that we’ll be using Yahoo for player percentages, and we’ll keep our suggestion to players rostered in no more than 60% of leagues.

FAAB Waiver Wire Pickups: Jake Fraley, Yoan Moncada, James Paxton
Hitters
Rostered: 39%
Suggested Bid: 8%
After a slow start to the season, Fraley ramped up the offensive production in May. Entering Friday, Fraley is hitting .359 in May with three home runs and two stolen bases. In addition, he walks 13.3% of the time with a 17.8% strikeout rate, as Fraley’s plate discipline has improved nicely.
Fraley is hitting .278 on the season with five home runs and five stolen bases. He has a .172 ISO and .823 OPS, as he regularly hits in the middle of the Reds’ batting order. Fraley will play half of his games in Great American Small Park which is already a boost, but producing the way he is now in all ballparks makes Fraley a solid addition to your fantasy teams.

Moncada returned from the IL a week ago and has been quite productive. Moncada is hitting .350 with three doubles and a stolen base. He has a 50% hard-hit rate and a .909 OPS as he continues to produce.
Moncada is now hitting .322 on the season with two home runs and a .220 ISO. Moncada has always showcased a nice hit tool; it has just been a matter of health. He is healthy for now, so get Moncada into your lineups immediately.

Naylor has showcased some nice underlying skills, yet the overall production has yet to be there for Naylor. In May, he hit .233 with three home runs and 11 RBI. He is striking out less than 19.6% of the time with an 8.8% barrel and 44.1% hard-hit rate. Naylor has a .256 ISO as well.
On the season, Naylor is only hitting .219 but has six home runs and three stolen bases. He has a solid 9.4% barrel rate and a 45.3% hard-hit rate with a .172 ISO. Naylor is much better than his numbers thus far, and I am buying into a nice run for the rest of the season.

Bradley returned after spending some time in the minors and threw five innings while allowing two runs and striking out four against the Mets. Bradley has made four Rays starts and has a 3.54 ERA, 3.19 xFIP, and 28.7% K-BB. Bradley has forced an excellent 11.2% SwStr and has proven he can be a fantasy stud for your teams. He’ll likely take over Drew Rasmussen‘s rotation spot, making him incredibly fantasy relevant.

After a rough start versus the Tigers, where he had no control, walking four, Bibee bounced back in a big way versus the Angels. He threw 7.2 innings while allowing one run and striking out seven. It was Bibee’s third start with no walks, and he has allowed only those four walks on the season. Bibee has a 3.22 ERA, 4.14 xFIP, and 20.5% K-BB through four starts. Bibee should be a fantasy stud moving forward and be rostered in so many more leagues.

Paxton made his season debut on May 12, throwing five innings while allowing two runs and striking out nine. His velocity was up and resembled the velocity he threw at when he was a fantasy ace. On Friday night, Paxton threw six more innings, allowing one run and striking out five. He is healthy for now, and when healthy, he should be rostered in nearly all formats.
Closers
Rostered: 33%
Suggested Bid: 14%
With AJ Puk hitting the IL with a nerve issue in his elbow, the closing role became Floro’s. He has taken over this week and flourished. Floro has picked up a save in his last three outings this week, proving he has some substantial closing value in fantasy. Floro should be at the top of your list if you need saves this week.
Rostered: 26%
Suggested Bid: 7%
So many thought Michael King, Ian Hamilton, or Clay Holmes would take over closing duties for the Yankees, but Peralta has become the bullpen arm to roster. Over the last week, Peralta has three saves while allowing one run and striking out five. Peralta has been highly successful and, for now, is worth a roster spot if you need saves.
