Dynasty Trade Advice
Here are trade proposals based on our Dynasty Trade Value Chart. And here are who our analysts feel will win these trades.
Rachaad White and Calvin Ridley for Jonathan Taylor
Who wins?
Rachaad White and Calvin Ridley side
- Andrew Erickson
Jonathan Taylor side
- Derek Brown
- Pat Fitzmaurice
- Ryan Wormeli
- Joe Pisapia
- Mike Maher
Ridley is 28, and there’s no guarantee he returns to stardom after being out of the league for nearly two years. White is an intriguing RB whose talents as a pass catcher and pass blocker should keep him relevant for quite a while. But Taylor is a foundational RB and one of the few true workhorses in the game. Give me the Taylor side.
- Pat Fitzmaurice
Cam Akers and Kadarius Toney for Jonathan Taylor
Who wins?
Cam Akers and Kadarius Toney side
- None
Jonathan Taylor side
- Derek Brown
- Pat Fitzmaurice
- Andrew Erickson
- Ryan Wormeli
- Joe Pisapia
- Mike Maher
If I’m the Taylor stakeholder, I’m certainly intrigued by this offer. But there’s just too much uncertainty with both Akers and Toney. Akers has already torn his Achilles, and Toney has endured a litany of injuries in his first two NFL seasons. I couldn’t part with a workhorse RB for two talented but unpredictable commodities.
- Pat Fitzmaurice
Jahmyr Gibbs and 2024 1st Rounder for Jonathan Taylor
Who wins?
Jahmyr Gibbs and 2024 1st Rounder side
- Derek Brown
- Pat Fitzmaurice
- Andrew Erickson
- Ryan Wormeli
- Joe Pisapia
- Mike Maher
Jonathan Taylor side
- None
Of all these offers for Jonathan Taylor, this is the only one that would get me to part with JT. I don’t like Gibbs’ dynasty outlook quite as much as Taylor’s, but a first-round pick in what’s looking like a loaded 2024 rookie draft is more than enough to bridge the gap.
- Pat Fitzmaurice
Kenneth Walker and Marvin Mims for Jonathan Taylor
Who wins?
Kenneth Walker and Marvin Mims side
- None
Jonathan Taylor side
- Derek Brown
- Pat Fitzmaurice
- Andrew Erickson
- Ryan Wormeli
- Joe Pisapia
- Mike Maher
I’m holding onto Taylor, who should be able to bounce back from a disappointing, injury-marred season and might find extra running room now that he’s paired with a dangerous runner at quarterback, Anthony Richardson. Walker is a talented runner but won’t catch a lot of passes, and he may have to share work with rookie Zach Charbonnet. Mims an interesting prospect but far from a sure thing.
- Pat Fitzmaurice
As you can see, our analysts largely prefer to hang onto Jonathan Taylor for the trades that were proposed. Hopefully this can help you as you navigate the trade waters of your dynasty fantasy football league and get a sense of value on those you’re trying to try for and away.
