We’re getting to the good stuff! Those final weeks of the NBA regular season were aggravating at times, but the rotations should be more finite now. Starters will probably play more than usual, and it’s one of the best times to play DFS. It’ll make these articles shorter from here on out, but our hit rate will skyrocket! With that in mind, let’s look at the schedule and odds before diving into the recommendations!

Injury Report
Core Plays
Anthony Davis (PF/C – LAL): $11,200 DraftKings, $11,600 FanDuel
It’s always fun to watch AD when he’s fully healthy. The big man has been just that, scoring at least 50 DraftKings points in six of his last seven games. The former All-Star is also generating a 58-point average in that span, leading the Lakers in shot attempts and usage. He should keep that form going against Minnesota, with AD averaging 38 points and 11 rebounds in their two matchups this year.
Jimmy Butler (SF – MIA): $9,000 DraftKings, $9,800 FanDuel
Jimmy always steps up at this time of the year, and he’s been rolling heading into the postseason. JB has scored at least 42 DraftKings points in 12 of his last 16 games, with two of those appearances being shortened due to unforeseen circumstances. That shouldn’t be an issue here because Butler will be locked into 40-45 minutes in this must-win game. Atlanta is a fantastic matchup, allowing the most fantasy points to opposing forwards. In their three matchups this year, Jimmy is averaging nearly 50 fantasy points per game.
Cash Game Considerations
Karl-Anthony Towns (PF/C – MIN): $8,600 DraftKings, $9,000 FanDuel
It’s strange to see KAT in this price range. The big man wasn’t posting monster lines near the end of the year, but he’s typically a $10K player. We have to assume he’ll return to that form in this must-win game, especially since Minnesota is missing two starters. A matchup with the Lakers only adds to his intrigue, with LA ranked fifth in pace and 20th in points allowed.
Bam Adebayo (C – MIA): $7,700 DraftKings, $8,200 FanDuel
Big Bam is my favorite player in the NBA, and he should be asked to do a ton in this pseudo-playoff game. The Miami center is averaging 40 DK points per game this season and had an even higher average in the second half of the year. Adebayo has annihilated Atlanta all year, averaging 49 DK points per game in their four meetings.
GPP Targets
Tyler Herro (PG/SG – MIA): $6,900 DraftKings, $7,800 FanDuel
Herro is a volatile player, but we want to stack Miami against Atlanta. The Hawks rank 24th in defensive efficiency and 26th in points allowed. That should boost this mediocre Miami offense, with Herro being one of the primary beneficiaries. The sharpshooter averaged 36 DK points per game in the regular season while posting a 33-point average against the Hawks. As long as Herro plays the 35-40 minutes and takes the 20 shots we anticipate, He should provide value at this $7K price tag.
Kyle Lowry (PG – MIA): $4,000 DraftKings, $5,600 FanDuel
This is risky, but something tells me Lowry will return to the starting lineup in this de facto playoff game. That’s big news in this incredible matchup because Lowry was a $7K player just a year ago. All he needs is 20-25 fantasy points to be a good value, and that’d be easy if he returns to the full-time player we’ve become accustomed to.
Value Plays
Mike Conley (PG – MIN): $6,900 DraftKings, $6,100 FanDuel
Minnesota traded for Conley for these situations. The veteran is averaging over 30 DK points per game since the trade and should be asked to do more with McDaniels and Gobert both out. He’s also got a 33-point average across his last 12 outings, scoring at least 36 DK points in three of his four matchups with the Lakers. That’s no surprise since LA allows the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing point guards.
Clint Capela (C – ATL): $6,200 DraftKings, $6,700 FanDuel
Cap is too good to be this cheap. The big man is averaging 34 DraftKings points per game across his last 11 outings. He’s also got a 31-point average for the year and should play big minutes to oppose Adebayo. We’ve also seen Cap score at least 26 DK points in all three of their meetings, with CC recording a double-double in their two most recent matchups.
