This will become a more regular thing the deeper we get into the postseason because teams are getting eliminated every night. It’s actually shocking we have this Boston-Atlanta game to talk about because I was sure the Celtics would close out at home in Game 5. In any case, we get extra basketball, and it’ll be fun to watch these clubs battle in this Game 6!

Injury Report
Core Plays
Jayson Tatum (SF/PF – BOS): $11,200 DraftKings, $17,000 FanDuel
On a single-game slate like this, it’s tough to fade a player like JT. Before struggling in Game 5, this All-Star had at least 52 DraftKings points in three straight outings. That’s not far behind his absurd 50-point average in the regular season, and he should be feeling it in this closeout game. We also don’t mind that Atlanta allowed the most fantasy points to opposing forwards in the regular season. This is the safest bet for your captain slot!
Cash Game Considerations
Trae Young (PG – ATL): $10,800 DraftKings, $16,500 FanDuel
Young has been struggling with his shot, but he’s still providing fantasy value. Ice Trae has scored at least 58 DraftKings points in three straight outings, reaching 68 fantasy points in the last two. That’s absurd since this guy saw a massive price drop at the beginning of the postseason, and we have to believe he’s in line for 40 minutes and 25 shots in this home elimination game.
Marcus Smart (PG/SG – BOS): $6,800 DraftKings, $11,000 FanDuel
Smart is just too cheap. This former Defensive Player of the Year has always been better throughout his postseason career, averaging nearly 35 DK points per game across his last three playoffs. The boost in playing time is what’s made him so good, with Smart scoring at least 31 DK points in the first four games of this series. The Game 5 dud is the outlier, and there’s no better per-dollar play on this single-game slate.
GPP Targets
Robert Williams (PF/C – BOS): $6,000 DraftKings, $9,000 FanDuel
Rob-Will was coined “The Time Lord” because of his absurd per-minute averages, and we’ve seen glimpses of that in this series. The big man had 45 DK points across 29 minutes in Game 4 and played another 27 minutes in Game 5. This guy should be $2,000 more on both sites if he’s playing 25-30 minutes because he’s averaging nearly 1.4 DK points per minute throughout his career. Boston has been trying their best to limit this guy because of injury concerns, but this is the time to unleash him in a playoff elimination game.
Clint Capela (C – ATL): $5,200 DraftKings, $8,500 FanDuel
It’s bizarre to see Capela this cheap. The big man has struggled in this series, but he has too much upside to be this affordable. Cap averaged nearly 35 DraftKings points per game in the regular season but has really struggled against this Boston team. Nobody is going to want to use him with the recent form, but it’s rare to see a player with this average in this price range. All he needs is a double-double to be a good value, and he’s been doing that for years.
Value Plays
Al Horford (PF/C – BOS): $6,400 DraftKings, $9,500 FanDuel
Big Al is always an exceptional value. Teams like Boston love to lean on their veteran leaders, and that’s evident by the fact that Horford is regularly playing 30-35 minutes a night. Big Al averaged over 30 DK points per game when he had that role in the regular season and has scored at least 24 fantasy points in 11 of his last 14 games. That’s all he needs to be a decent value in this price range, but 30-35 DraftKings points feel like a more likely outcome in a 35-minute role.
Advantageous Pricing
Bogdan Bogdanovic (SG/SF – ATL): $5,400 DraftKings, $10,500 FanDuel
De’Andre Hunter (SF – ATL): $6,600 DraftKings, $8,500 FanDuel
