Man, how good was that Wednesday card? I’ve always been a proponent of having two television in my living room, and that night proved why. The two night games were absolutely brilliant, and we have one of those matchups returning here. That has us looking at two Game 6s to talk about, and both of them are Western Conference rivalries. The home teams have a chance to close those series out, and it’ll be fun to watch how everything plays out.

Injury Report
Core Plays
Anthony Davis (PF/C – LAL): $10,200 DraftKings, $11,500 FanDuel
Davis would be in the cash game section if he showed us any glimpses of consistency, but we have to include him in the core section because of his ceiling. Not many players in the NBA can match the upside of AD, scoring at least 62 DraftKings points in three of the five games of this series. That’s what he’s done against Memphis all year, scoring at least 61 fantasy points in five of their seven matchups. This is their final chance to close out at home, and if the Lakers are to advance, Davis needs to have a big game.
De’Aaron Fox (PG – SAC): $8,700 DraftKings, $10,000 FanDuel
We weren’t so sure how Fox would look with a broken finger on his shooting hand, but he looked as good as ever. The All-Star finished with 51 DK points in that Game 5 loss, which is amazingly his lowest total of this series. That 50-point floor is no surprise when considering the matchup, with Golden State playing at the fastest pace in the league. They’re also surrendering the second-most fantasy points to opposing guards, and a speedster like Fox will always thrive in that sort of matchup.
Cash Game Considerations
Stephen Curry (PG – GSW): $9,400 DraftKings, $9,500 FanDuel
Chef Curry has been cooking in this series. The former MVP has scored at least 44 DraftKings points in 14 of his last 15 games. He also posted a 50-point average in the regular season and killed the Kings all year. They’ve faced nine times now, with Curry scoring at least 41 fantasy points in all of them. That’s far from shocking since Sacramento ranked 26th in points allowed and defensive efficiency in the regular season.
Ja Morant (PG – MEM): $9,600 DraftKings, $10,500 FanDuel
This matchup couldn’t be much better for Morant. LA ranked 25th in total defense in the regular season while surrendering the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing point guards. That’s bad news against a menace like Morant, who maintained a 48-point average in the regular season. That should be his floor in this must-win Game 6, with Ja dropping 58 and 79 DK points in two of his last three games. As long as he picks up the 40 minutes and 20-plus shots we’re anticipating, Morant is hard to avoid.
GPP Targets
D’Angelo Russell (PG, SG – LAL): $5,700 DraftKings, $6,000 FanDuel
D-Lo can be annoying at times, but he’s too good to be this cheap. The former All-Star is still the starting point guard in LA, scoring at least 35 fantasy points in three of the five games in this series. That’s what you expect from a $7K player, and we saw him flirt with that average in the regular season. There aren’t many options in this price range with that sort of ability, and there are fewer with the upside that D-Lo presents.
Malik Monk (PG, SG – SAC): $5,500 DraftKings, $6,500 FanDuel
Monk can be a tough player to trust in the regular season, but he always does well in quality matchups. That’s what we have here because Monk has to play monster minutes to oppose this small-ball Warriors team. That’s led to Malik scoring at least 33 DraftKings points in four of five games in this series. He also scored 41 or more fantasy points in two of their three regular-season meetings, and it’s clear Monk thrives in this magical matchup.
Value Plays
Kevon Looney (C – GSW): $5,900 DraftKings, $6,800 FanDuel
How awesome has Looney been in this series? The big man hasn’t scored much, but he’s got at least 38 fantasy points in three consecutive outings. What’s made him so reliable is his rebounding, gobbling up 56 boards in that superb stretch. He’s also got 22 assists in that span, and it’s scary to think how good he could be if he just reached double digits in scoring. We were worried about Draymond Green stealing touches and minutes with DG coming off the bench, Loon has actually stepped into his role at times in this series.
Xavier Tillman (PF, C – MEM): $5,600 DraftKings, $6,200 FanDuel
X has been massive for Memphis. They needed a big man to steep up with Clarke and Adams both sidelined, allowing Tillman to start in every game of this series. That expanded role has led to X scoring at least 30 DraftKings points in three of his last four games. The big man has also provided a 45-point upside in that span and is being asked to play more to guard LeBron James. As long as he’s playing 30-plus minutes as the primary center, Tillman should never be this cheap!
