Early 2024 Dynasty Rookie Mock Draft (Fantasy Football)

The NFL Draft is like Christmas morning for football fans and fantasy managers alike. There is just something special about seeing the live formation of the next generation of NFL superstars and fantasy football studs. With the completion of the 2023 NFL Draft, it’s natural to look ahead to next year to see how the next class stacks up. Here’s an early look at what a 2024 Dynasty rookie draft will look like a year from now.

Dynasty Rookie Draft Kit

1st Round

1.01 Caleb Williams (QB – USC)

Height 6’1″
Weight 220

The reigning Heisman Trophy winner is as complete of a QB prospect as you could assemble. His rocket arm, escapability and highlight-reel off-script plays will garner Patrick Mahomes comps from many that watch him. He is a lock to be the first overall pick in both the 2024 NFL Draft and your Superflex Dynasty rookie drafts.

1.02 Marvin Harrison Jr. (WR – Ohio State)

Height 6’4″
Weight 205

With a Hall of Fame bloodline, insane college production and an impressive physical frame, Marvin Harrison Jr. has it all. He’s a smooth technician at wide receiver, demonstrating excellence in all aspects of the position. His robust skill set, size and name will make him as valuable as any rookie WR in recent memory.

1.03 Drake Maye (QB -North Carolina)

Height 6’5″
Weight 220

Maye possesses the big, prototypical build desired in NFL quarterbacks, but don’t be fooled; he is an excellent athlete. In addition to cracking the 4,000-yard mark in 2022, Maye added nearly 700 rushing yards on the ground. He can make all the throws with his massive arm and would be the top QB prospect in many draft classes.

1.04 Brock Bowers (TE – Georgia)

Height 6’4″
Weight 230

Bowers is an athletic freak that has dominated the SEC since he stepped on campus at Georgia. He’s too fast for linebackers to handle and too strong for defensive backs. He shows advanced wide receiver skills and is a menace after the catch. A featured receiving weapon at the TE position is fantasy gold.

1.05 Raheim Sanders (RB – Arkansas)

Height 6’2″

Nicknamed “Rocket,” Sanders has excellent speed and explosion despite his powerful 225-pound frame. He runs angry, frequently punishing defenders, and is a house call waiting to happen. He’s got the three-down workhorse potential fantasy managers covet.

1.06 TreVeyon Henderson (RB – Ohio State)

Height 5’10”
Weight 210

Henderson has elite speed and the perfect NFL running back frame at 210 pounds. He looked dominant as a freshman, resulting in some elevating him to the same tier as Bijan Robinson. An injury-plagued 2022 and a loaded Ohio State RB room have dropped him a bit, but Henderson is a top-shelf talent.

1.07 Emeka Egbuka (WR – Ohio State)

Height 6’1″

If his teammate Harrison Jr. is the best WR in the country, Egbuka is the second best. Egbuka fits what the NFL is looking for at WR with his ability to separate and win both inside and outside. He’s smooth, shifty, demonstrates excellent body control and has soft hands.

1.08 Braelon Allen (RB – Wisconsin)

You read that right, 238 pounds. Allen is a throwback power back that is a nightmare for defenders. Allen uses his brute strength and physical style to wear down defenses and has surprising speed to pull away from defenders.

1.09 Will Shipley (RB – Clemson)

Shipley is a dynamic backfield weapon who shines in the receiving game. He checks the 200-pound box and is a shifty runner with great vision. He should test well and has the toolbox that fantasy managers covet at the RB position.

1.10 Malik Nabers (WR – LSU)

Height 6’0″

Nabers blew up for a thousand-yard season in 2022, priming him to be the latest LSU WR to take his talents to the NFL. Nabers creates separation quickly and is tremendous after the catch. He should have a monster season in 2023, as the Tigers look like the best team in the SEC West.

1.11 Xavier Worthy (WR – Texas)

Height 6’1″

Worthy is tiny at just 165 pounds, but that hasn’t stopped him from being a problem for college defenses. Worthy’s true-freshman year was among the best freshman seasons ever, as he posted nearly 1,000 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns. Worthy can stretch the field and is a serious big-play weapon.

1.12 Quinn Ewers (QB – Texas)

One of the highest-rated high school recruits of all time, Quinn Ewers possesses all the traits of a highly drafted NFL QB. He flashed greatness for the Longhorns at times last season, including a near upset of Alabama that saw Ewers leave the game early with an injury. If Ewers can put together a massive season at Texas this year, it will mean an early exit for the NFL.

2.01 Donovan Edwards (RB – Michigan)

Height 6’1″

Overshadowed by older teammate Blake Corum, Edwards is the better pro prospect. Edwards showed what he could do down the stretch in 2022, particularly in the last few games of the campaign, where he amassed a stat line of 70-520-3 on the ground over a three-game span.

2.02 Troy Franklin (WR – Oregon)

Oregon doesn’t have the best history of producing NFL wide receivers, but Troy Franklin is the one to buck that trend. He is an explosive athlete with strong hands and the length and speed to take the top off defenses. Another year as Bo Nix’s top target will only keep Franklin climbing up boards.

Benson excelled as Florida State’s featured back after transferring in from Oregon. He has a solid 215-pound frame and displays impressive vision and contact balance as a runner. He will see a considerable workload for a very good Florida State team in 2023.

Outside of the Ohio State pair, the best WR duo in the nation resides in Seattle, Washington, and they will go back-to-back here. Starting with the bigger-bodied Rome Odunze, you’ve got a big athlete who runs crisp routes and dominates after the catch. He does just about everything at a high level.

2.05 Jalen McMillan (WR – Washington)

Odunze’s counterpart McMillan was the higher-regarded high school prospect and also more closely fits the mold of the modern-day NFL wide receiver. McMillan has blazing speed and superb lateral agility, which allows him to regularly creates separation from defenders. Both receivers will fill the stat sheet again in a nasty Washington offense in 2023.

2.06 Jase McClellan (RB – Alabama)

The Alabama RB is always a coveted fantasy asset. Prior to injury in 2022, it looked like McClellan could be that guy. If McClellan is indeed the lead back in the Alabama backfield in 2023, it’s wheels up, as McClellan is a complete package with NFL upside.

Corum has been an absolute workhorse on the ground for Michigan. He would have surpassed 1,500 rushing yards and 20 TD in 2022 if not for a meniscus injury late in the season. He is a tough runner who can handle a large workload with excellent contact balance and elusiveness.

Talk about the grass being greener on the other side — in this case, neon green. Nix’s move to Oregon drastically increased his stock, as he looked marvelous for the Ducks in 2022. Nix is a dual-threat athlete who throws an accurate ball to all levels of the field.
