Braxton Berrios set to be released by Jets
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the New York Jets plan to release WR Braxton Berrios at the start of the league year to save on cap space.

Berrios’ release will save $5 million for the Jets, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN, and the deal comes as a result of the two sides failing to agree on a restructure. Berrios has played four seasons in New York with 1,245 scrimmage yards and nine touchdowns. Berrios will add returner ability and slot depth to wherever he goes.

According to NFL insider Dianna Russini, the Jets’ organization is optimistic they will be able to land Aaron Rodgers.

According to the report, the Jets and the Packers are in talks about his contract and potential compensation. The Jets’ owner and key coaches met with Rodgers in California and the team left the meeting excited about the potential of acquiring Rodgers. If the Jets do land Rodgers, it is a massive fantasy boost to the Jets’ pass catchers.

Adam Thielen could be released by the Vikings in the coming days, according to Adam Schefter.

Thielen and the Vikings are set to talk over the coming days but there is a chance that the team decides to release him. Thielen would then become a free agent and there should be numerous suitors for the veteran wide receivers. The 32-year-old receiver registered 716 receiving yards and six touchdowns on 70 receptions in 2022.
