It’s hard to believe, but most teams only have 20 games left in the regular season. The season has cruised by, but things are always more fun when you play fantasy every day. That’s one of the biggest appeals of DFS because it gives you something to follow every day. It sounds crazy, but even if you miss a slate, it feels like you’ve missed a week’s worth of news. That’s why we write these articles, though, because we want to make things easier on you guys. With that in mind, let’s dive into this Wednesday card.

Injury Report
Core Plays
Damian Lillard (PG – POR): $11,900 DraftKings, $11,000 FanDuel
We had Dame in here on Tuesday, and we’re obviously going right back to the well. This sharpshooter has scored at least 56 DraftKings points in 15 of his last 19 games, averaging nearly 60 DK points per game in that stretch. He’s simply doing everything for this offense right now, and we saw him drop 93 fantasy points in his first outing without Simons. Facing New Orleans is not scary either, with Dame scoring 64 DK points per game in their last four matchups.
Nikola Vucevic (C – CHI): $9,100 DraftKings, $8,900 FanDuel
Vooch is not the most exciting DFS option, but this dude is incredibly reliable. The big man has scored at least 34 DraftKings points in 26 of his last 28 games, generating a 45-point average in that span. That should be easy to reach against Detroit, with the Pistons ranked 28th in defensive efficiency and 29th in points allowed. He’s played them 10 times over the last four years, scoring at least 40 DK points in nine of those!
Dennis Smith Jr.(PG/SG – CHA): $5,100 DraftKings, $6,100 FanDuel
We don’t like this matchup with Phoenix, but Smith should be in for a monster workload. We expect him to start at point guard with Ball sidelined, doing some of his best work earlier in the year in the same role. In the 13 games Smith has played at least 29 minutes, he’s averaging nearly 35 fantasy points per game. That would be absurd from such an affordable player, and we expect DSJ to see a $1,000 price bump within the next week.
Cash Game Considerations
Anthony Davis (PF/C – LAL): $10,200 DraftKings, $11,500 FanDuel
We talked about this yesterday, and we’re using Davis for all the same reasons. AD leads the team in usage with D-Lo and LeBron sidelined, averaging 1.6 DK points per minute in those circumstances. That’s amazing since Davis has one of the highest upsides in the NBA, and one of those is in play against OKC. The Thunder allow the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing centers, and we truly believe AD’s floor is 60 DK points with so much in his favor.
Ja Morant (PG – MEM): $9,900 DraftKings, $10,000 FanDuel
The Rockets have been a cheat code against opposing point guards. They’ve allowed the most fantasy points to opposing ball-handlers this year and surely won’t be able to hold down Ja and his 50-point average for the year. When he played Houston earlier in the year, Ja dropped 73 DraftKings points in one of the best games of his career.
Gordon Hayward (SG/SF – CHA): $6,400 DraftKings, $6,700 FanDuel
Hayward is amid the best stretch of his season right now, and we have to assume he’ll be one of the primary playmakers with Ball out for the foreseeable future. That’s great with the way Gordon’s been playing, averaging 38 DK points per game across his last six outings. That makes him way too cheap, and he’s another guy that’s due for a massive price bump.
GPP Targets
James Wiseman (PF/C – DET): $4,800 DraftKings, $5,800 FanDuel
We finally saw Wiseman play a full allotment of minutes on Monday, and he should continue to get all the work he can handle with Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart both nicked up. That led to Wiseman scoring 32 fantasy points in his second start of the season just a few days ago. Detroit is going to give this former top-two pick every opportunity to succeed, and he’s going to be impossible to fade as long as Stewart and Duren remain sidelined.
Mitchell Robinson (C – NYK): $5,000 DraftKings, $6,700 FanDuel
Mitch-Rob missed nearly two months due to a thumb issue, but he’s back to being the force in the paint that we know and love. The big man has scored at least 30 fantasy points in all three games since his return, which is right on par with his season average. That makes him way too cheap below $6,000, and New York will need him to play big minutes to oppose Nic Claxton.
Jae’Sean Tate (SG/SF – HOU): $4,300 DraftKings, $4,800 FanDuel
Tate was rested on Tuesday, but we’re assuming that was to have him ready here. That also means that Jalen Green could be rested in this back-to-back, which should force Tate into some ball-handling duties. This lefty has been doing that more recently, averaging 26 DK points per game in his two most recent outings. That’s actually his exact average from last season, and that’s an incredible total from such an affordable player.
Value Plays
Jalen Williams (SG/SF – OKC): $6,200 DraftKings, $6,200 FanDuel
It looks like Gilgeous-Alexander is going to miss another game, which means Williams should be one of the primary playmakers for this team. This guy has already been one of the best rookies over the last two months, averaging 34 DraftKings points per game across his last 25 outings. That makes it hard to believe that he remains so cheap in this expanded role. and we’re not scared of him facing a 27th-ranked Lakers defense.
Dennis Schroder (PG/SG – LAL): $6,300 DraftKings, $5,900 FanDuel
Schroder was locked into all of our lineups on Tuesday, and we’re using him for all the same reasons here. LeBron and Russell being sidelined should force him into all the ball-handling duties, but missing Russell Westbrook should guarantee him 40 minutes. We’ve seen this guy play at an $8K level in this sort of role in the past, and it’s not like he’ll struggle against a subpar Thunder roster.
Mark Williams (C – CHA): $5,400 DraftKings, $6,800 FanDuel
This guy is awesome. Williams has taken over starting center duties with Mason Plumlee getting traded, playing over 30 minutes a night in this expanded role. That’s hard to believe since he averaged 18 DK points per game across 15 minutes in a reserve role before the trade. Marky Mark is averaging 33 DK points per game since being announced as the starter and has 36 and 48 DK points in his two most recent outings.
