If you can tear your eyes away from March Madness (go Fairleigh Dickinson!), there is a tidy little six-gamer on tap for NBA DFS tonight. There are some key injuries dictating the makeup of the slate right now, so let’s get right to it.

Joel Embiid (PHI): $11,400 DK/$12,000 FD
Embiid is going to cost you, as he’s the most expensive player on both sites. Can you really blame them, though? Over the past six games Embiid has averaged 38 PPG with a 39.6% usage rate. He’s taken over as the betting favorite for MVP and there’s no indication he’ll let up. The tanking Pacers have allowed the second most FPPG to opposing centers, so Embiid is well worth an investment.

CASH PICKS
Desmond Bane (MEM): $7800 DK/$8100 FD
His price has really not reflected it, but Bane has fully taken over as the alpha in Ja Morant‘s absence. If you throw out his ejection, Bane has four games of over 43 DK points since Morant has been out of the lineup. This is a big time pace-up game (Golden State second, Memphis fifth) with playoff implications, and Andrew Wiggins‘ continued absence has really cause Golden State’s wing defense to plummet.
Kyle Anderson (MIN): $7100 DK/$7500 FD
Never in my wildest dreams would I have ever thought I’d be recommending Anderson at these prices, but here we are. Over the past four games, Anderson has 43 assists, 34 rebounds, and two triple-doubles in big minutes for Minnesota. He played 51 minutes last night so there may be some maintenance, but it’s highly unlikely Anthony Edwards suits up tonight which will give Anderson even more usage.
T.J. McConnell (IND): $6100 DK/$5900 FD
Tyrese Haliburton has been ruled out for at least the next three games, and the Indiana guards have proven to be known beneficiaries in that scenario. McConnell has 43 DK points last game, and is averaging 12 more DK points per game with Haliburton off the court. His price has risen, but there’s still a lot of room for value.
VALUE PLAYS
Derrick White (BOS): $5500 DK/$6100 FD
White is priced back down to a range befitting his “secondary role”, but White played 36 minutes last game and Malcolm Brogdon will be sitting for this one. Utah ranks sixth in pace and has struggled all season to contain scoring guards.
Nickeil Alexander-Walker (MIN): $3600 DK/$4200 FD
It’s early, but Alexander-Walker (NAW) looks like the punt du jour for this Saturday slate. Anthony Edwards only played eight minutes last night before leaving with injury, and his status looks very much in question tonight as he’s in a walking and is in “a lot of pain”. NAW played 26 minutes off the bench yesterday and should be looking at a similar role tonight. There may even be room for more minutes upside as aging vets Mike Conley and Kyle Anderson played 45 and 51 minutes last night, respectively.
