It’s time for another look at the waiver wire to find players that you can add for short-term and long-term success.
We’ll look at players that you should consider picking up who are rostered in four different rostership tiers:
-
- 50-60%
- 30-49%
- 15-29%
- 0-14%
What’s more, we’ll give you a breakdown of how many games each team has for the upcoming week so that you can maximize the minutes of your streamers.
Without further delay, let’s get to it, starting with the schedule of games being played for next week.

Tim Hardaway Jr. (SG/SF – DAL)
The Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic combo hasn’t fully hit yet, and, with Luka nursing an injury, we may have to see other Mavs’ players step up. Christian Wood is my first thought for someone who will gain value in fantasy, but since he’s over the threshold, we’ll look at Hardaway.
Hardway has played at least 30 minutes in four of his last five games, and he’s averaging 20.6 points in his last three. He’s streaky, but someone will need to be a complementary scorer to Irving.
Zion Williamson can be cut, as it’s unlikely we see him during the regular season, which sucks. Brandon Ingram got hurt again on Wednesday, so Murphy looks like he’ll continue to maintain value in fantasy circles for the struggling Pelicans. He’s scored 15 or more points in three straight games.

Retweet from last week, or something like that: OK – is this going to be a thing? Wiseman looks like a guy who is refreshed and playing with confidence. He’s playing well for the Pistons and logging actual minutes. He’s been a top-135 player over the last two weeks, which, for Wiseman, is a big deal.
The Grizzlies are a mess right now. With Steven Adams out for at least the next four weeks and Brandon Clarke out with a torn Achilles, Tillman is going to continue to get a lot of run for Memphis and fantasy managers alike.

The Lakers are hot of late despite the LeBron James injury. Anthony Davis has been fantastic, but Reaves has been contributing as well, scoring 16 or more points in four of his last five games.
Richardson was off the injury report Wednesday, and he was, well, bad. But, with the injuries that the Pelicans have had and the fact they are jockeying for playoff seeding, Richardson should continue to have backend fantasy value as a spark off the bench.

If Jrue Holiday and Giannis Antetokounmpo continue to miss time for the Bucks, Carter is the play for fantasy managers. He’s a deep-league option of course, but he’s scored 44 points in his last two games.
Again, the Grizzlies are a mess. Tyus Jones is the player to have of course, but he’s rostered in far too many leagues to be eligible for this column. With the Grizzlies struggling to score offensively without Ja Morant, Clarke and Adams, Kennard should play a bigger role off the bench.
Kennard made five three-pointers two games ago. He’ll continue to get the looks from the corner in the Grizzlies’ offense.
