Dynasty Rookie Draft Profile: Tre’Vius Hodges-Tomlinson
Tre’Vius Hodges-Tomlinson Dynasty Rookie Draft Outlook
THT is probably the most talented CB in this group but he’s so small it’s hard to know where he’s going to get drafted. He had over 80 targets last year and only allowed a completion rate of 34.6%, 2nd best in FBS. Hodges-Tomlinson is aggressive, which allows him to get to the spot before a WR and break up passes but also leads to some penalties. His main issue is that he’s going to measure at 5’9″ or shorter which will be tough against bigger NFL WRs and it’s hard to see him making many tackles in the run game.

Tre’Vius Hodges-Tomlinson 2023 NFL Draft Outlook
As a polished three-year starter with strong awareness, it doesn’t require much imagination to project Hodges-Tomlinson to the pro level. However, it’s likely that some, or even many, may view him as a candidate to slide into the slot, somewhere he hasn’t played much in college but which he has all of the tools to handle. Consequently, his stock will largely depend on how much the nickel spot is valued by teams on draft day.
– Matthew Jones
Projection: Round 3-4
