Jammie Robinson Dynasty Rookie Draft Outlook

The tackling ability stands out for Robinson when watching him. He didn’t seem to miss any in the games I watched, and according to PFF, he was one of 20 Safties with 500 snaps in the Power 5 with a missed tackle rate under 10%. Robinson is best as a box Safety that can be moved around a bit, and playing the run and protecting short routes in zone is where he shines. The longer the play lasts with him in coverage, the more exposed he is when he’s asked to cover man-to-man, he gets beat on routes with nuance or passed with straight speed. Robinson can play the ball well when asked to play over the top at FS, he has experience as a slot, but I prefer him at either of the Safety positions in a zone-heavy defense.

Jammie Robinson 2023 NFL Draft Outlook

A defensive back whose physical/athletic traits are closer to average overall but who has plenty of experience in different roles in the
secondary, combining the ability to defend opposing receivers from the slot with reliable tackling after the catch and in run support. Should appeal primarily to teams that favor versatility and conservatism in the secondary as a defender who does a nice job of limiting big plays by keeping things in front of him.
