Dynasty Rookie Draft Profile: Emmanuel Forbes
Emmanuel Forbes Dynasty Rookie Draft Outlook
Fourteen INTs and 14 TDs allowed describe Forbes perfectly. He’s a gambler that is maybe a little overaggressive at times, but he allowed only three TDs and had six INTs his final season at Miss State. Forbes plays the same way Marcus Peters does, and he’s going to get burned on occasion, but it’s worth the gamble, especially if he has a solid CB on the other side. Forbes will have issues matching up with some of the bigger WRs as he is a little on the slim side, but that won’t make him any less aggressive. Forbes is a 50/50 CB that should be a solid IDP performer, especially with his willingness to take on an RB too.

Emmanuel Forbes 2023 NFL Draft Outlook
Has an interesting combination of length and flexibility, which could allow him to develop into a starter down the road; consequently, should have some appeal to “bend, don’t break” defenses that favor zone/off-coverage. That said, despite the progress he’s made over the past three seasons, isn’t the stickiest or most explosive cornerback and probably needs to clean up elements of his technique, especially as a tackler, before teams will be willing to trust him on the boundary.
