Brock Purdy expected to be ready for training camp

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, QB Brock Purdy is expected to receive surgery on his UCL on Feb. 22, which could put him in line to return in time for training camp.

Fantasy Impact

Purdy went 5-0 in regular season starts his rookie year, throwing for 1,374 yards and 13 touchdowns. After getting injured in the NFC title game, Purdy looks to be able to be ready in time to compete with QB Trey Lance, who missed the majority of his sophomore season with an injury.

Josh Allen will not need elbow surgery, will be ready for 2023 season

Josh Allen will not require surgery on his injured elbow and is expected to make a full recovery in time for the 2023 regular season.

Fantasy Impact

Allen suffered a UCL injury to his throwing elbow during the second half of the season. Allen did not miss a start, but the Bills did appear to limit his running in order to protect against additional hits to his throwing elbow. The Bills’ star quarterback will remain a top option in fantasy drafts in 2023.
