It’s been a wacky couple of days after a wild trade deadline on Thursday, so I hope everyone was able to navigate the waters. We’re still dealing with fallout today, as some players have still yet to suit up for their new teams. The biggest domino to fall is how Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving coexist, and perhaps we’ll get to see that today. Good luck, and enjoy the Super Bowl tomorrow!

Let’s jump into Saturday’s best plays.
TOP PLAY
Nikola Jokic (DEN): $11,600 DK/$12,000 FD
Jokic is continuing his quest for a third straight MVP, and it’s a tough case to deny as he’s currently averaging a triple-double on the season. I’ve been targeting bigs against Charlotte all season long and there’s no reason Jokic shouldn’t continue the trend. The Hornets rank 25th in defensive efficiency, 22nd in rebounding rate, and have allowed the most fantasy points per game to centers. The last time Jokic faced off against them, he put up an epic 40-27-10 line for 95.75 DK points.
CASH PICKS
Jalen Brunson (NYK): $8600 DK/$7900 FD
The Knicks are on a back-to-back but so are the Jazz, and Utah has been severely lacking in on-ball defense all season long. Brunson has not played under 36 minutes since 12/20 against the Warriors, so his minutes are as secure as anyone’s in the league. Utah ranks 26th in defensive efficiency and has given up the tenth most FPPG to opposing PGs. Even the addition of Josh Hart should not affect Brunson’s role. His price on FD is especially friendly.
Bradley Beal (WAS): $7400 DK/$7900 FD
Beal returned from a two-game absence to post a 17-4-10 line en route to 45.75 DK points. Kyle Kuzma remains out for the Wizards, and Beal gets a 4.2% usage boost in that split while averaging 5.9 more DK points per game. Kristaps Porzingis is the upside pick, but Beal is a solid cash floor play at a very affordable price. It also helps that the Pacers have allowed the second most FPPG to opposing guards.
Jarrett Allen (CLE): $6900 DK/$7700 FD
This is a DK-specific play, but it needs to be pointed out that Allen’s price just doesn’t move on that site, and it should. Allen has six double-doubles over his last seven games and has scored 20 or more points in his last three. Chicago is 19th in rebounding rate, and Allen benefits from the double-double bonus on DK.
VALUE PLAYS
Zach Collins (SAS): $4100 DK/$5600 FD
Collins exploded for 49.25 DK points in 35 minutes in his first game as the new starting center for the Spurs, and his price only moved $100 on DK ($600 on FD). The matchup is tougher tonight against Clint Capela, but it just doesn’t matter at Collins’ price tags, especially with the Spurs continuing to deal with a laundry list of injuries.
Collin Sexton (UTA): $4000 DK/$5500 FD
Sexton is another one whose price didn’t move overnight on DraftKings, and we need to fully take advantage of it. With Mike Conley, Malik Beasley and Nickeal Alexander-Walker all sent away, Sexton was already profiling as a top guard option last night. Then, Jordan Clarkson was ruled out with an illness, and Sexton vaulted to the top of the priority list. Even if Clarkson returns tonight, Sexton is a cash lock on DK at 4k with dual PG/SG eligibility. He’s fine on FD as well, but not as big a value.
Mark Williams (CHA): $3500 DK/$4800 FD
Williams played 32 minutes last night in his first role as Charlotte’s center. He’s crushed from a per minute standpoint this season and transcended a very difficult matchup against Boston last night to put up 32.5 DK points in 31 minutes. The matchup is difficult again against Jokic (and the foul risk is increased as well), but you’re not passing up Williams in a starting role with a sub-4k price tag.
