Dynasty Rookie Draft Profile: Tyree Wilson
Tyree Wilson Dynasty Rookie Draft Outlook
Length! Tyree Wilson is 6-foot-7, 275 lbs, and he uses that wingspan to his advantage in many ways. Wilson will get a push on the OL, and then a second punch when their off-balance will usually put them on the ground or at least out of the way. There was a play against Kansas State where he was blocked and pushed past the QB, but he reached back and knocked the ball out of the QBs hands to force a fumble. Wilson has also played outside, inside, and as an OLB. Wilson isn’t going to win with speed around the edge very often, but he’s so big he can make a one-arm tackle or at least get in the way. Wilson is still developing a bit but should go near the top of the 1st round.

Tyree Wilson 2023 NFL Draft Outlook
Undoubtedly one of the top edge defenders in this year’s class, with a rare combination of size, power, explosiveness, and flexibility, holding the point of attack as a two-gap run defender and varying his rush approach to generate consistent pressure in the passing game. Those traits, coupled with the value that teams place on the position, should make him a high first-round pick on draft day.
