Dynasty Rookie Draft Profile: Bryan Bresee
Bryan Bresee Dynasty Rookie Draft Outlook
Bresee was 247 Sports’ No. 1 Prospect in the Country in 2020, and he paid off immediately, but he has missed some time the past two seasons. Breese had a shoulder injury and tore his ACL in 2021, and last season he missed time due to the loss of his younger sister to cancer. Breese has all the physical tools to be a great IDL, but he needs to refine his technique and prove he can stay on the field. The ceiling is extremely high, but he needs to prove he can stay on the field, and he’s a little more of a project than he should be entering the NFL.

Bryan Bresee 2023 NFL Draft Outlook
Offers a shocking combination of intensity, explosiveness, power, and play-recognition skills, which could make him one of the top defensive players off the board in this year’s class, assuming his knee checks out during the pre-draft process. Projects as an every-down lineman who would fit equally well in a one-gap or two-gap front; the former may be a slightly better fit, given his ability to recognize plays and use his quickness/explosiveness to create chaos in the backfield. Deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as the great defensive tackle prospects in recent drafts.
