No House Advantage Pick ‘Ems Week 18 (2022 NFL Football)

The recent explosion of online betting and new, inventive ways to play fantasy sports has most of our heads spinning. No House Advantage’s new app lets you stack over/under prop bets to win real money. I’ll be here weekly, giving you my favorite prop bet plays to help you build a winning stack.

No House Advantage is offering three options for their Pick’ Ems contest this Sunday for the early slate of games. Entry fees range from $5 to $15. The following prop bet picks apply to all three contests.

No House Advantage Pick ‘Ems Week 17 (2022 NFL Football)

Mac Jones (QB – NE): OVER 0.5 Interceptions

This Week 18 match-up between the Bills and Patriots isn’t your average season-ending division rivalry contest. New England needs a win to remain in the playoff hunt, and Buffalo is coming off of an emotional Week 17 game cancellation after the terrifying situation with safety Damar Hamlin.

The Patriots have managed to battle to an 8-8 record behind QB Mac Jones despite mediocre play, having thrown 11 touchdowns to eight interceptions. After a hot start, the team has won just four of its last six games. On the other hand, Buffalo hasn’t lost since Week 10 against Minnesota. This game looks to be over before it even starts, and Buffalo will have Jones scrambling all day, and I expect the second-year signal caller to make some errant throws leading to multiple interceptions to round out the season. Take the over on this prop as a mid-priority to round out the 2022 NFL regular season.

Garrett Wilson (WR – NYJ): OVER 4.5 Receptions

New York Jets rookie WR Garrett Wilson is coming off an awful Week 17 performance. Despite being targeted 11 times, Wilson only managed three catches for 18 yards in a 23-6 loss at the hands of the Seattle Seahawks.

This week, the Jets travel to Miami with a chance to play spoiler to the division rival Dolphins. Veteran QB Joe Flacco will be starting in place of the injured Mike White, which is good news for Wilson. Flacco was the team’s starter for the first four weeks of this season, and Wilson had four or more catches in three of those contests. With a chance to end the Dolphins’ playoff hopes, the Jets will put it all on the line this Sunday. Wilson will again be targeted heavily and will easily eclipse this receptions prop. So take the over on Wilson in Week 18 to get in the green.

Justin Jefferson (WR – MIN): OVER 110.5 Receiving Yards

No one is quite sure what happened to Vikings WR Justin Jefferson in Week 17. The undisputed number one WR in the NFL managed just one catch on five targets for 15 yards in a painful loss to the Packers. However, it’s a new week for Jefferson and the Vikings, and a rebound is in order.

Heading into Week 18, Jefferson needs 194 yards to break Calvin “Megatron” Johnson’s single-season receiving yards record. After the painful loss last week, Minnesota has something to prove against a bad Chicago Bears squad that will be rolling out their B-team. It’s almost certain QB Kirk Cousins will look to get the ball into his most talented pass catcher’s hands. I like Jefferson to get close to Megatron’s yards total, making it an easy decision to take the over on this prop bet. Slot it in as a mid-priority for Week 18.

Brandin Cooks (WR – HOU): OVER 4.5 Receptions

There hasn’t been much to like about the Houston Texans offense in 2022, and that includes veteran WR Brandin Cooks. Despite high expectations for the talented pass catcher, who had been labeled “quarterback proof” by many fans and analysts, he hasn’t managed to do much. It culminated in Cooks demanding a trade ahead of the early October deadline, which never came to fruition. Cooks spent the next four weeks on IR before returning to the team in Week 16.

Since his return, Cooks has been more involved in the Houston passing attack, catching eight of 16 targets for 73 yards in his last two games. Week 18 has Houston traveling to Indianapolis to face off against the Colts in a game that has no postseason implications. The Texans are looking to end the season on a high note against a secondary in Indy that is allowing an average of 11.75 receptions per game to opposing WRs. When these two teams played each other in Week 1, Houston’s WRs had 12 receptions, with Cooks snagging seven. I expect a similar outcome to round out the 2022 NFL season and am taking the over on this receptions prop for Cooks. You can safely slot this one in as a high-priority play for Week 18.
