Let’s take a look at the best plays for tonight’s NBA contests.
TOP PLAY
Joel Embiid (PHI): $11,400 DK/$11,600 FD
You’ll have to pay a pretty penny to invest in Embiid (highest-priced player on FD and second-highest on DK), but he’s well worth it when you compare him to the other studs on this slate. Since returning from his injury, Embiid leads the NBA in usage rate with a 38.6% usage rate to go along with an elite 34% rebounding rate. Sacramento is eighth in pace and playing on the second game of a back-to-back. Harden is also questionable for this one, and that would just be the gravy on top if he were to sit.

CASH PICKS
Alperen Sengun (HOU): $8100 DK/$7800 FD
Sengun’s price tag has spiked massively over the last week, but it’s with good reason. In the two recent games Kevin Porter has missed, Sengun has been unleashed for a 21.9% usage rate, 36% rebound rate, and 29.1% assist rate. He’s posted scores of 70.25 and 54 on DK in that span, so the upside beyond an 8k price tag is certainly there. If Rudy Gobert were to miss another game, that would help immensely.
Terry Rozier (CHA): $7600 DK/$8100 FD
LaMelo Ball seems to be made of glass this season, as he’s likely to miss more games with his ankle and wrist injuries. The big beneficiary is Rozier, who sees his usage rate spike to over 30% to go along with a 26.4% assist rate. He’s not priced for this boost, and Atlanta is on the second half of a b2b (tired legs). Gordon Hayward is likely to return, but he should have limitations as well. Rozier’s the guy.
VALUE PLAYS
Caris LeVert (CLE): $5300 DK/$5600 FD
Donovan Mitchell has to be out for LeVert to be a value again, but it’s a groin injury and we’ve seen many times what happens to players when they push that (Mitchell included). Levert sees a usage spike of over 3% without Mitchell while averaging 4.2 more DraftKings PPG. He’s priced for a reserve role still and was big chalk last night.
Saben Lee (PHX): $3700 DK/$4500 FD
Lee of all people has emerged as the Phoenix guard to own these days and has earned himself a second ten-day contract as a result. Over the past two days, Lee has played 28 and 29 minutes in a reserve role for the Suns and gets to face an Indiana squad whose defense has begun to crumble again (they’ve fallen all the way back to 26th in defensive efficiency). These are price tags that you can comfortably set and forget Lee in cash.
