Fantasy Football Injury Updates

Tyler Huntley (shoulder/wrist) questionable for Sunday

Tyler Huntley (shoulder/wrist) is considered questionable to play in Sunday’s playoff matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Fantasy Impact

Huntley was previously limited in practice all week due to shoulder and wrist injuries, but he was able to log a full practice session on Friday. He’s listed as questionable for Sunday, but he seems to be trending towards playing and starting with Lamar Jackson being ruled out. He’s been up-and-down when starting for Baltimore this year, but he will still offer them a chance to take down their division rivals in the first round of the playoffs.

Mike Williams (back) suffers fracture, expected to miss several weeks

Mike Williams (back) suffered a small non-surgical fracture that was not found in his initial X-ray and MRI, according to Lindsey Thiry of The Athletic. He will likely miss two to three weeks.

Fantasy Impact

Williams injured his back while playing in the Chargers’ Week 18 game. Notably, Los Angeles had already secured a playoff start, so head coach Brandon Staley’s decision to play his starters has drawn criticism in the aftermath of Williams’ injury. For the time being, the Chargers will head into the playoffs with Keenan Allen, Joshua Palmer, and DeAndre Carter leading the wide receiver position.

Raheem Mostert out for wild card round

The Miami Dolphins have listed RB Raheem Mostert (thumb) as out against the Buffalo Bills.

Fantasy Impact

Mostert did not practice all week after suffering a broken thumb in Week 18. He is now listed as out, and mid-season acquisition RB Jeff Wilson Jr. will likely take over as the lead back. RB Salvon Ahmed could see an increased role as RB2.

Lamar Jackson (knee) ruled out for Sunday

Lamar Jackson (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday night’s playoff Wild-Card matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Fantasy Impact

Jackson is still trying to recover from a knee injury that has forced him to miss extended time this season. He will be out for at least the first week of the playoffs, and there’s a good chance we don’t see him at all this season. Tyler Huntley is expected to start in his place, but the Ravens would have a much better chance to take down their division rivals if Jackson was available to play.
