Fantasy Football Injury Updates

Jalen Hurts (shoulder) remains limited in practice Thursday

Jalen Hurts was limited in practice on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact

Hurts is on track to starting on Sunday against the Eagles as they need to win to secure the No. 1 seed in the NFC. He is on track to play barring any late setbacks.

Ari Koslow

Antonio Gibson placed on IR Thursday

The Commanders placed Antonio Gibson on injured reserve Thursday, ending his 2022 season.

Fantasy Impact

Gibson will miss the final game of the season as he continues to deal with a knee and a foot injury. Gibson tallied 546 rushing yards, 46 receptions, 353 receiving yards, and five total touchdowns this season.

Jesse Garcia

Lamar Jackson (knee) absent at practice on Thursday

QB Lamar Jackson missed his 14th consecutive practice on Thursday, as he continues to nurse a lingering knee injury.

Fantasy Impact

It is no surprise Jackson continues to miss time, as he was never expected to return in the regular season. Baltimore coaches have continued to relay that they expect Jackson to be ready for the playoffs, though that seems to be in question at this point. The franchise quarterback does not seem close to returning right now, and the Wild Card Round is just over a week away. The Ravens need Jackson back to have any chance of advancing in the 2023 playoffs.

Dan Tursky

Brian Robinson (knee) misses practice again on Thursday

Brian Robinson (knee) missed a second consecutive practice on Thursday, putting his availability for Sunday in doubt.

Fantasy Impact

The Commanders have been eliminated from the playoff picture, so there’s little reason for them to push Robinson to play. With Antonio Gibson and J.D. McKissic on the IR, the next men up for the Commanders would be Jonathan Williams and Jaret Patterson. However, neither is a great option against a strong Cowboys defense.
