Lamar Jackson went down with a knee injury against the Broncos in Week 13, and it seems like it’s an injury that will linger for the mobile quarterback. Tyler Huntley filled in for Jackson and led a game-winning drive, but the Baltimore offense obviously has a much higher fantasy upside with Jackson under center. Early reports indicate that it may be a longshot for Jackson to play in Week 14 against the Steelers, but here’s all that we know.

Lamar Jackson (knee) listed as doubtful for Week 14
Lamar Jackson (knee) is listed as doubtful for the Ravens’ Week 14 matchup with Pittsburgh.
Fantasy Impact
Jackson missed practice all week after exiting Week 13 with a knee injury. With the doubtful designation, fantasy managers should expect Tyler Huntley to draw the start Sunday against the Steelers. Huntley currently ranks as the QB16 in ECR, according to FantasyPros.

What the Experts are Saying
Lamar Jackson has been listed as doubtful. Huntley likely draws the start this week. Last week among 36 quarterbacks, Huntley was 26th in PFF passing grade, 25th in yards per attempt, and eighth in adjusted completion rate. Last year in five starts, he finished as a QB1 only once, but he did rush for at least 40 yards in every game. That’s the ticket for Huntley. His rushing upside. He’s a QB2 with upside depending on what he does with his legs. Since Week 10, the Steelers are 14th in success rate per dropback, 11th in passing yards per game, and 11th in EPA per dropback. The optimistic side of me also has to mention over the same period, they are 22nd in explosive pass rate allowed.

The average timeline takes 2-4 weeks. Initial comments suggest a milder end of the spectrum for Lamar, so we’d anticipate his return in Week 15 or 16. If he’s playing before Week 16, expect a mild decrease in rushing attempts.
