Will Kadarius Toney Play in Week 14?

Kadarius Toney’s tenure with the Chiefs has already been a bit of a rollercoaster ride. The wideout has shown flashes of high-level fantasy production but he has also already missed time with injury, which was the story of his Giants career as well. There’s no questioning his ability or upside when he is on the field, but it has been a struggle to keep him healthy, which clouds his overall fantasy value. Will he be ready to suit up for Week 14 against the Broncos? Here’s everything we know.

Kadarius Toney (hamstring) questionable for Week 14

Kadarius Toney (hamstring) was limited in practice all week long and is officially questionable ahead of Sunday’s game versus the Broncos.

Fantasy Impact

Toney produced four catches, 57 yards, and one touchdown back in Week 10 but has been hindered by injuries ever since. Considering he is listed as the No. 4 receiver on the Chiefs’ depth chart, Toney should be avoided in most redraft leagues for the time being.

What the Experts are Saying

Toney managed limited practices all week and has been listed as questionable (hamstring). Toney saw his only substantial usage in a Chiefs’ uniform in Week 10. In that game, he garnered a 14.7% target share with 57 receiving yards and a score. He finished with 3.35 yards per route run, a 29% target per route run rate, and a 43.6% route run rate. If he returns to the lineup this week, it will probably be in a similar limited capacity. Toney will run about 94% of his routes as a WR4 against Patrick Surtain (59.3% catch rate, 93.8 passer rating) and Damarri Mathis (72.7% catch rate, 98.8 passer rating).
