Ja’Marr Chase hasn’t played since Week 7, but he finished as the overall WR1 in his last two games before going down with a hip injury that has caused him to miss the last four. Cincinnati has a big showdown with conference rival Kansas City, and the Bengals’ offense will need all the help they can get to keep up with Mahomes & Co. So will Ja’Marr Chase return in time to help fantasy managers reach their own playoffs? Or will they need to continue using their replacements? Here’s what we know.

Ja’Marr Chase (hip) questionable for Week 13
Ja’Marr Chase (hip) upgraded to a full participant in practice on Friday. He is officially listed as questionable for Week 13 against the Chiefs.
Fantasy Impact
Although Chase is listed as questionable, it looks like he’s trending in the right direction after logging a full practice. If active, he will rank as a WR1 in fantasy football.

What the Experts are Saying
Chase was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday before sneaking in a full walkthrough on Friday. Chase has stated he’s hopeful of playing, but the above quotes scare me that Chase could be ruled out on Saturday, or we get a mid-day news drop that he’ll be on a pitch count. Check back Saturday for Chase’s outlook.

Plan to re-insert Chase back into your WR1 slot. He projects to be nearly full strength at this point. If he had returned in Week 12, we would’ve expected a limit on his snaps. At this point, however, the training wheels will likely be off.
