No House Advantage Pick ‘Ems Week 14 (2022 NFL Football)

The recent explosion of online betting and new, inventive ways to play fantasy sports has most of our heads spinning. No House Advantage’s new app lets you stack over/under prop bets to win real money. I’ll be here weekly, giving you my favorite prop bet plays to help you build a winning stack.

No House Advantage is offering three options for their Pick’ Ems contest this Sunday for the early 1 PM EST Slate. Entry fees range from $5 to $15. The following prop bet picks apply to all three contests.

Darius Slayton (WR – NYG) UNDER 53.5 Receiving Yards

New York WR Darius Slayton has been called upon as of late to carry the receiving load for the Giants’ offense. He heads into Week 14, having logged 60-plus receiving yards in his last four games, with two of those being 90 or more yard games.

This week, the Giants are up against the division-leading Philadelphia Eagles’ vaunted secondary featuring shutdown CBs Darius Slay and James Bradberry. Given that Slayton has been the de facto WR1 for the Giants, Slayton will draw coverage from one of the two defenders, making it hard to foresee Slayton continuing his recent dominance. As a high-priority play, I’m confidently taking the under on this receiving prop.

Derrick Henry (RB – TEN) OVER 87.5 Rushing Yards

Over the last few weeks, Titans RB Derrick Henry hasn’t been quite himself. The usually dominant ball carrier has failed to eclipse 40 yards rushing either week and hasn’t managed to find the endzone. However, Week 14 looks like a chance for Henry to return to being the focal point of the Tennessee offensive attack.

Tennessee lines up against division rival Jacksonville this week in a crucial AFC South battle. The Titans are without rookie WR Treylon Burks, and fellow WR Robert Woods has been largely ineffective this season. That leaves the burden on Henry’s shoulder to keep them rolling toward a division title. The last time these two teams faced off with Henry healthy, in Week 5 of the 2021 season, he had 130 rushing yards and three touchdowns. I expect more of the same this week and for him to smash the over this yardage prop. So I’m playing it as a high-priority pick in Week 14.

Ezekiel Elliot (RB – DAL) OVER 66.5 Rushing Yards

It’s become clear over the course of this season that Dallas RB Ezekiel Elliot is no longer the bell cow back he once was. However, he has regained some steam in the last few weeks; logging 16 carries for 92 rushing yards in Week 12 and 17 for 77 in Week 13.

This week, Elliot and the Cowboys host the neighboring Houston Texans in a game that is likely to get out of hand quickly in favor of the home team. Dallas’ high-powered offense should have the Texans playing catch-up and will be able to stick to the run attack for most of the game. The Texans’ defense has been atrocious all season, especially against running backs. This is a week where both RB Tony Pollard and Elliot should be able to put up big numbers. I’m taking the over on Zeke in Week 14 and not looking back. I am, however, keeping it as a mid-priority play should the Texans find a way to stick in this one.

Saquon Barkley (RB – NYG) OVER 76.5 Rushing Yards

While I may not be bullish on the chances of Slayton lighting it up for the Giants this week, it will be the opposite for RB Saquon Barkley. Coming off a three-game stretch of relatively disappointing performances where he didn’t eclipse 70 rushing yards, the team will need him to be effective this week, facing one of the best secondaries in football.

While the Eagles have been staunch against the pass, they haven’t been nearly as effective against the run. Through 12 games, they are allowing an average of 21 carries and 94.5 rushing yards per game. The Giants are already a run-heavy offense, and they’ll need to keep it on the ground this week to have a chance of pulling off the upset at home. While QB Daniel Jones will be a big part of the rushing attack, Barkley will be the star in this game. I’m betting on him to bust out of his slump in a big way and taking the over on this yardage prop. Play it as a mid-priority just to be safe.
