It’s been an exciting season. We’re getting to the good part, and the scheduling is always bizarre at this time of the year. We have football four days a week, with 10 games making up the Sunday slate. We’re going to zone in on that main card, so let’s get started with the signal callers!
The players below are ones I’m looking at for GPP considerations for Week 15:
Quarterbacks
DraftKings
Justin Herbert (QB – LAC): $7,200 vs. TEN
Herbert looked incredible on Sunday Night. This is simply one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, and people forgot he was missing most of his weapons all year. Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, and Gerald Everett are all healthy for the first time this season, and Herbert is averaging over 25 DraftKings points per game when all three of those guys are in the lineup. Tennessee has been terrible, too, surrendering the most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season.

Mike White (QB – NYJ): $5,200 vs. DET
The Zach Wilson experiment didn’t work in New York, but White is reaping the benefits. He scored 22.5 and 27.8 DK points in his first two games as a starter and had 278 passing yards before getting injured last week. This guy is utilizing all of his weapons, making him tough to fade since Detroit, who’s surrendering the second-most fantasy points to opposing signal callers.
FanDuel
Tom Brady (QB – TB): $6,800 vs. CIN
It’s so crazy to see Brady below $7,000. He’s earned it with some pitiful play, but the role is still there for him to be a stud. The GOAT has attempted at least 40 passes in all but one game since Week 2, averaging 289 passing yards on 47 attempts per game. The lack of touchdowns has been holding him back, but you can’t fade a sub-$7K player looking at 45-50 attempts and 300 yards a game. Cincinnati isn’t a concerning matchup either, sitting 20th in passing yards allowed.
Desmond Ridder (QB – ATL): $6,500 vs. NOS
This is a total punt play because no one knows what Ridder will do. In any case, this talented rookie has a ton of upside, looking like one of the best dual-threat quarterbacks in the NFL in the preseason. An unknown youngster like this is always an attractive GPP option because you never know when we might stumble into the next Patrick Mahomes or Josh Allen.
In Consideration: Justin Fields (QB – CHI): DK $7,400/FD $7,900 vs. PHI
Fields has been a Top-3 quarterback since Week 7 and should be asked to throw a ton to keep up with the highest-scoring offense in the NFL.
Running Backs
DraftKings
Derrick Henry (RB – TEN): $8,000 at LAC
We had Henry in this section last week, and we’re going right back to the well. This beast had nearly 100 rushing yards after the first quarter but was game scripted into a somewhat disappointing game. He still had 25 DraftKings points despite doing nothing in the second half, getting his season average above 20 fantasy points per game. That total should be easy to reach here, with the Chargers surrendering the most yards per carry in the NFL at a whopping 5.4 YPC.
Isiah Pacheco (RB – KC): $5,900 at HOU
Pacheco has taken over this backfield, picking up at least 13 carries in five straight games. He’s also averaging 79 rushing yards on 16 carries a game in that span, seeing the bulk of goal-line work as well. Getting to face the Texans is tantalizing, too, allowing the most rushing yards in the NFL. The Chiefs will also be one of the largest favorites of the season, and that game script should enable Pacheco to receive 20 totes and a handful of goal-line carries.
FanDuel
Alvin Kamara (RB – NO): $7,600 vs. ATL
Kamara has bit the bullet for this subpar Saints offense, scoring 11 or fewer FanDuel points in five straight games. That has plummeted his price tag, but a BYE week hopefully got this team back on track. They need to feed this guy because he’s one of the best backs in the NFL. Kamara averaged 17 FD points per game through the first six games of the year and can drop 40 fantasy points on any given Sunday. It seems more likely against this 25th-ranked Atlanta defense, with Kamara collecting at least 17 FD points in three of their last four meetings.
D’Andre Swift (RB – DET): $6,600 at NYJ
Everybody was burned by Swift last week, but that will keep his ownership percentage criminally low. This is still one of the most talented backs in football, who scored 19 FD points in that Week 13 masterclass. We’ve seen him average that for month-long stretches, and we’re willing to take a risk on him at this dirt-cheap price tag.
In Consideration: D’Onta Foreman (RB – CAR): DK $5,400/FD $6,400 vs. PIT
Foreman has at least 14 DraftKings points in four of his last seven games and has been receiving 15-20 carries a game since Christian McCaffrey was traded. This game script shouldn’t kill him either, with Carolina having a road game against a pitiful Pittsburgh team.
Wide Receivers
DraftKings
Keenan Allen (WR – LAC): $6,800 vs. TEN
We said we’d recommend Allen every week until he’s above $7K, and we’re still not there. This has been a Top-10 receiver for six years now, and it’s hard to understand the disrespect. He’s been dealing with injuries all year, but 14 targets in back-to-back games show that he’s finally fully healthy. He’s also got 21 DraftKings points in both of those and should slice through the worst secondary in the NFL.
DJ Chark (WR – DET): $4,500 at NYJ
We also had Chark in here last week, and this is another egregious price tag. The Lions receiver has been playing in 80 percent of the team’s snaps when he’s healthy and picked up a season-high 21 DK points last week. He’s also got at least 94 yards in back-to-back games, and it’s tough to understand why he’s priced around a bunch of bench warmers.
FanDuel
Chris Godwin (WR – TB): $7,000 vs. CIN
Godwin has been Top-5 in targets since his return in Week 4, averaging 7.0 receptions, 76 receiving yards, and 10.5 targets per game since then. Much like Brady, the touchdowns have held his price tag down, but that sort of role is unbelievable from a $7K player. Cincy is not a scary matchup either, ranked 20th in receiving yards surrendered.
Diontae Johnson (WR – PIT): $6,600 at CAR
Godwin and Johnson have had very similar seasons. DJ has actually failed to record a touchdown this year, despite being one of the most targeted players in the NFL. He’s still averaging 5.2 catches and 8.7 targets per game but has had his best games when playing with Mitchell Trubisky. In fact, Johnson has at least 8.7 FanDuel points in all four games Trubisky has been behind center, picking up at least six receptions in each. We also don’t mind that Carolina owns a 25th OPRK against opposing receivers.
In Consideration: Julio Jones (WR – TB): DK $3,900/FD $5,400 vs. CIN
Julio got a season-high eight targets last week and is slowly becoming a more significant part of this offense. This former Pro Bowler can be an immense value in this price range.
Tight Ends
DraftKings
Chig Okonkwo (TE – TEN): $3,100 at LAC
Injuries have dismantled this Tennessee passing attack, forcing Chig into his most prominent career role. The speedy tight end has at least five targets in three straight games, picking up at least 31 receiving yards in six consecutive games. That might not sound like much, but he’s one of the only tight ends with that sort of consistency. The $3,100 price tag is also crazy because the Chargers rank 28th in total defense this year.
FanDuel
Travis Kelce (TE – KC): $8,000 at HOU
This one doesn’t need much explanation. Kelce is the best tight end ever, and he’s lapping the field this year. Kelce is averaging 16.7 FanDuel points per game, with the second-highest-priced player averaging just 7.2 FD points per game. He’s doubling up every healthy tight end out there and is much easier to use on FanDuel with the expanded salary.
In Consideration: Evan Engram (TE – JAC): DK $3,800/FD $5,500, vs. DAL
Engram had a career game last week, collecting 11 catches for 162 yards and two touchdowns. He won’t duplicate that, but it’s clear he’s one of the focal points of this offense right now.
Defense/Special Teams
DraftKings
Pittsburgh Steelers D/ST: $3,100 at CAR
The Steelers’ defense has been a different unit since TJ Watt returned from injury. They’ve allowed 17 points or fewer points in four of their last five games and should do that again versus the Panthers. Carolina ranks 24th in points scored and 30th in total yardage, projected to score 19 points in this game. Sam Darnold has also been a turnover machine in the past and could struggle against this stout Steelers defensive line.
FanDuel
Denver Broncos D/ST: $3,700, vs. ARI
The Cardinals have been a disaster this season, and it will only get worse with Kyler Murray getting injured. Arizona has one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL, surrendering the fifth-most sacks in the league. That’s disastrous against Denver, with the Broncos ranked in the Top-10 in nearly every defensive metric. That’s why the Donkeys are a 2.5-point favorite in a game with a 38-point total.
In Consideration: New England Patriots D/ST: DK $2,800/FD $4,700, at LV
This $2,800 price tag on DK is laughable. This is one of the only D/STs averaging double-digit fantasy points, and it’s not like the Raiders have a daunting offense.
