How crazy is it that we’re in Week 14 already? It’s the end of most season-long fantasy leagues, and it just flies by year after year. This is when things get good, though, because everyone has a good idea of what they’re playing for. It’s also fascinating because we have six teams on BYE, leaving us with a smaller slate than usual. With that in mind, let’s start by looking at the quarterbacks!

The players below are ones I’m looking at for GPP considerations for Week 14:
Quarterbacks
DraftKings
Kirk Cousins (MIN): $6,100 at DET
Cousins has been all over the map in terms of consistency, but this guy has a huge upside. The Vikings quarterback has scored at least 20 DraftKings points in four of his last eight games, which is right on par with his season average in 2021. We expect that to be his floor in this matchup, facing a Lions team that’s surrendering the most fantasy points to opposing signal-callers. In their last two meetings, Cousins is averaging over 21 fantasy points per game.
Tyler Huntley (BAL): $5,500 at PIT
We’re excited about Huntley. This guy has a similar profile to Lamar Jackson, and we expect similar production. He had 17 DK points across three quarters after L-Jax got injured last week, posting an 18-point average in his six starts last year. He also flashed a 36-point masterpiece in that span, showcasing his elite speed and playmaking combination. Pittsburgh is not as scary of a matchup as it sounds, owning a 24th OPRK against opposing quarterbacks.
FanDuel
Deshaun Watson (CLE): $7,000 at CIN
There is no doubt that Watson was pitiful in his debut, but the first game is tough for anyone. That horrific outing is going to keep his ownership percentage low, but this guy has all the talent in the world. He was one of the top-scoring quarterbacks between 2018-2020 before his suspension, and this is the best offense he’s ever played with. Cincinnati is not a scary matchup either, with Cleveland projected to score over 21 points.
Brock Purdy (SF): $6,500 vs. TB
Any quarterback can thrive in this offense. This roster is full of playmakers, and whoever’s behind center should be able to produce. In a fill-in spot last week, Purdy provided 15 FD points and didn’t even play the full game. We saw Cj Beathard average over 20 FD points per game as a fill-in in the past, and we expect Purdy to be a similar type of player. That’s really all you need from such a cheap player, and Tampa’s 13th-ranked defense is far from a terrifying matchup.
In Consideration: Geno Smith (SEA): DK $6,200/FD $7,700 vs. CAR
Geno is averaging over 20 fantasy points per game and could be asked to throw a ton with how beat-up Seattle’s backfield is right now. That’s bad news for a 24th-ranked Panthers defense.
Running Backs
DraftKings
Derrick Henry (TEN): $7,900 vs. JAX
People are panicking about King Henry, but this guy is going to go nuts here. He’s been held back by some blowouts, but Tennessee should thrive here as a 4.5-point favorite against one of the worst teams in the NFL. The Jaguars also own a 22nd OPRK against opposing running backs, with Henry scoring at least 33 DraftKings points in four of his last six matchups with Jacksonville. That will likely make him the top-scoring back on the slate if he reaches that again.
D’Onta Foreman (CAR): $5,400 at SEA
Foreman has established himself as the go-to back in Carolina, with Christian McCaffrey getting traded. He’s playing in about 60 percent of the team’s snaps since Week 8, scoring at least 14 DraftKings points in four of those six games. That’s all you can hope for from a $5,400 player, especially since he faces a Seattle team surrendering the second-most fantasy points to opposing backs.
FanDuel
Joe Mixon (CIN): $8,500 vs. CLE
Many people are going to fade Mixon after missing the last two games, but we want to go right back to the well. This stud was averaging 17 FanDuel points per game before that injury, posting the best game of the year in Week 9. We saw Samaje Perine post similar numbers when filling in, and whoever gets the bulk of the carries will be superb in Cincy. Facing Cleveland is far from concerning, owning a 31st OPRK against opposing running backs, according to FD.
Devin Singletary (BUF): $6,600 vs. NYJ
Singletary has been an underrated asset in Buffalo. The only thing holding him back in the past has been his role, but Devin has at least 13 carries in six of his last seven games. He’s also averaging over 13 FanDuel points per game in that span and has the game script to record another 13-20 carries here. Buffalo enters this matchup as an 8.5-point favorite, likely leading to some goal-line carries for Singletary as well.
In Consideration: Kenneth Walker/DeeJay Dallas (SEA):
Whoever starts for Seattle is a good play. This is quietly one of the most efficient offenses in the NFL, facing a 27th-ranked Carolina run defense.
Wide Receivers
DraftKings
DJ Moore (CAR): $5,500 at SEA
It’s nice that Moore finally has a quarterback who will throw the ball down the field. He’s been held back by Baker Mayfield and PJ Walker, but he had 23.3 DK points in his most recent outing with Sam Darnold. He also had over 30 DraftKings points less than a month ago, and that’s the stud we saw last season. He’s simply the top receiver for this club and should see a 30 percent target share from here on out. He was a $7K player in that role in the past and shouldn’t have any issues with a 28th-ranked Seattle secondary.
DJ Chark (DET): $4,300 vs. MIN
An injury derailed DJ’s season, but this guy has too much upside to be $4,300. He’s scored at least 7.8 DK points in four of the five games he’s finished. He’s also playing in 75% of the team’s snaps when healthy, and as long as that’s the case, he should be above $5,000. Facing Minnesota is magical, too, owning a 30th OPRK against opposing receivers. If this game is the shootout everyone expects, Chark could flirt with double-digit targets.
FanDuel
Justin Jefferson (MIN): $9,300 at DET
People are going to see that Jefferson is the highest-priced player on FanDuel and fade him, but that’s a silly thought. This is the highest-priced player for a reason, averaging 18.3 FD points per game. Getting to face the worst defense in the NFL is what makes him such a good option, though, averaging 29 FanDuel points per game in his last three meetings with the Lions.
Chris Godwin (TB): $7,500 at SF
Godwin got off to a slow start, but this dude is a target machine. He ranks 12th in the NFL with 99 targets, despite being limited through the opening month of the year. He’s scored at least 12 FD points in nine straight games since returning in Week 4, averaging 10.7 targets per game in that span. That’s a Top-5 mark in the NFL, and you know Tampa will have to throw to keep up with this elite 49ers offense.
In Consideration: Jerry Jeudy (DEN): DK $5,400/FD $6,500 vs. KC
This is a game where Denver will likely have to throw to keep up with KC. The Chiefs are allowing the second-most fantasy points to opposing receivers, and Jeudy could see double-digit targets with Cortland Sutton nicked up.
Tight Ends
DraftKings
TJ Hockenson (MIN): $5,100 at DET
Revenge game narratives are always risky, but you know Minnesota is going to feed Hockenson against Detroit. This guy was already getting force-fed targets, ranked Top-3 in targets since his acquisition. That’s led to Hockenson averaging 14 DraftKings points per game since Week 4. That’s the second-highest total among all tight ends, and we’re obviously not worried about Detroit surrendering the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends.
FanDuel
Mark Andrews (BAL): $6,800 at PIT
Andrews has had a rough second half, but he was a stud when Huntley was behind center last season. He actually had a target share above 30 percent when Jackson was out. In the five starts, Huntley made last year, Andrews averaged 11 targets per game. He also averaged nearly 20 FanDuel points per game in those outings, which is absurd from any tight end at this point. One of those was Pittsburgh, with Mark collecting eight catches and 85 yards on 15 total targets!
In Consideration: George Kittle (SF): DK $4,300/FD $5,900, vs. TB
No one is going to use Kittle with his recent struggles and injury to Jimmy G. We’re willing to take the risk, though, because this is still one of the best tight ends in the NFL facing a Tampa team that owns a 27th OPRK against opposing tight ends.
Defense/Special Teams
DraftKings
Dallas Cowboys D/ST: $3,800 vs. HOU
What if I told you that a D/ST who scored 20 DK points last week is facing an offense that surrendered 30 DK points to their opposing D/ST? That’s a scary thought because Houston has one of the worst offenses in the NFL, while Dallas has one of the most dangerous defenses. They’re lapping the field with 11.4 DK points per game and are an easy bet against such a horrific offense.
FanDuel
Tennessee Titans D/ST: $4,200 vs. JAX
The Jaguars are projected for just 18 points in this game, and they’re going to struggle with this Top-10 Tennessee defense. Jacksonville ranks 19th in total yardage this season, while Tennessee ranks 10th in points allowed. That’s why they have such a low projection, averaging just 9.7 points in the last three games against the Titans.
In Consideration: Pittsburgh Steelers D/ST: DK $2,800/FD $3,800 vs. BAL
This has been a different unit since TJ Watt returned from an injury. We love that since they face a Baltimore team missing Lamar Jackson, Rashod Bateman, and JK Dobbins, who are projected to score just 17 points in this game.
