Man, did I nail last week or what? Gardner Minshew, Sam Darnold, D’Onta Foreman, D.J. Moore and Richie James were all great calls last week and helped me to my best week overall this season. I’m hoping to repeat my success this week, so let’s dive in…

Quarterback
Draftkings
Jared Goff (DET) vs. CHI $5,600
If you’re a regular reader of my column, you already know that anytime Goff is at home in a good matchup, you play him. The matchup doesn’t get much better than the 29th-ranked pass defense DVOA in the Chicago Bears. This game has the highest game total at 52.5 points, and the Lions are tied for the highest implied total of 29 with the Kansas City Chiefs. Goff is averaging 19.9 DraftKings points at home compared to 13.1 on the road. Home Goff is likely a highly rostered QB this weekend and will probably be my cash QB.
Others to consider: Brock Purdy (SF) $5,500 | Mike White (NYJ) $5,400
Fanduel
Mike White (NYJ) @ SEA $7,000
Goff is probably the play on Fanduel as well, but a decent pivot is Mike White if you need to save that $400. He gets a Seahawks pass defense ranked 21st DVOA and 22nd in points allowed to QBs.
Others to consider: Brock Purdy (SF) $7,000 | Jared Goff (DET) $7,400
Running Back
Draftkings
Tyler Allgeier (ATL) vs. ARI $5,300
Allgeier has become a solid volume play with at least 18 opportunities (targets + carries) over his last two games. Last week he had 18 carries for 74 yards against the sixth-best run defense DVOA, but this week he gets the Cardinals ranked 27th. Neither defense in this game will be able to stop the opposing offense, and, despite the low Vegas total of 41.5, this game has some sneaky shootout appeal.
Others to consider: D’Andre Swift (DET) $5,300 | Brian Robinson (WAS) $5,200
Fanduel
Brian Robinson (WAS) vs. CLE $6,900
The Commanders’ path to the playoffs will come on the back of Brian Robinson. The Browns are ranked 30th in run defense DVOA and give up the 25th most Fanduel points to running backs. He will also likely have this backfield to himself as his backfield mate, Antonio Gibson, hasn’t practiced the last few days and looks more on the doubtful side of his questionable tag.
Others to consider: Miles Sanders (PHI) $6,800
Wide Receiver
Draftkings
Brandin Cooks (HOU) vs. JAX $4,800
Cooks had nine targets last week and scored a touchdown — and Draftkings lowered his price by $100. The Texans have played some very competitive games against some very good teams lately, nearly beating Dallas and Kansas City in Weeks 14 and 15, respectively and then getting a win against the Titans last week. I expect this game to be no different, and Cooks at $4,800 is just too cheap — only the Raiders are ranked lower in pass defense than the Jags.
Others to consider: Jakobi Meyers (NE) $5,000 | Drake London (ATL) $4,900
Fanduel
Tyler Lockett (SEA) vs. NYJ $6,000
I had to do a double-take at Lockett’s price. Obviously, he still has to be cleared to play, and if he is cleared, we have to hope he is healthy enough to make an impact — but $6,000? He’s cheaper than Allen Lazard and Isaiah Hodgins, and he’s only $100 more than K.J. Osborn. He gets a tough matchup against the Jets’ sixth-ranked pass defense DVOA, but at $6,000, it doesn’t matter. If he’s active, you play him. Period.
Others to consider: Drake London (ATL) $6,700 | Zay Jones (JAX) $6,700
Tight End
Draftkings
Tyler Conklin (NYJ) @ SEA $2,900
Conklin has cooled considerably after his hot start to the season, but his price has dropped enough that he is a viable punt option once again. No one gives up more points to tight ends than the Seahawks, and with QB Mike White returning, this offense should look much better overall. As it always is with cheap tight ends, he needs to fall into the end zone to hit his value, but he has as good a shot as any to do that.
Others to consider: Jelani Woods (IND) $2,800
Fanduel
Cole Kmet (CHI) @ DET $5,300
The Bears don’t have many receiving options left, but Kmet has remained a steady, if unspectacular, option all season — he has at least five targets in six of his last seven games. Yes, he has very low yardage totals on those targets, but we are just looking for the chance at a touchdown when you are punting tight end, and Kmet isn’t a bad option at his price. The Lions are ranked 29th in pass defense DVOA and give up the 27th most Fanduel points to tight ends.
