Monkey Knife Fight Advice: Week 15 (2022 Fantasy Football)

Welcome to Monkey Knife Fight. Monkey Knife Fight is one of the more intriguing entrants in the DFS arena. Instead of the traditional salary cap based contests, Monkey Knife Fight allows DFS players to put their fantasy football knowledge and predictive powers to the test.

They offer fantasy point and stat-based contests. Perhaps the most appealing of all of their offerings is the ‘More or Less’ contests. In these contests, you can choose whether a player will fall above or below totals for a preset combination of two to 10 players. Your win probability obviously goes down with the more players you add, but you receive an increased payout multiplier in exchange.

Since Monkey Knife Fight’s fantasy point and stat-based totals are dynamic, meaning the total, total type, and pairings change throughout the week, it is important to search for favorable and advantageous total pairings to exploit on a daily basis. Ideally, when choosing a total pairing, you want to feel extremely confident on one of the totals and feel strongly enough about the other total to proceed. This week we will take a look at two of the ‘More’ options that stood out the most for Week 15. Note that these are not locked in pairings, and may no longer be offered by the time you log in to make your picks.

Plays of the week

Mike Williams (WR – LAC): 60.5 receiving yards
Mike Williams is back in the lineup for the Los Angeles Chargers and looked good in his first game back since Week 11, hauling in all six of his targets for 116 receiving yards and a touchdown. The 60.5 number at MonkeyKnifeFight is quite surprising, especially considering the number is 65.5 on the market. This could mean that MKF expects Williams to hit Less than 60.5 receiving yards against the Tennessee Titans. However, Williams has gone for more than 89 receiving yards in each of his last two full games and in four of his last five. The movement is on the More even at 65.5, which suggests that this line could be one of the top More values we have seen all year at MonkeyKnifeFight. The projection on our player prop tool disagrees, but that is peculiar as the Titans have been the third softest pass defense in the league this season, allowing an average of 14.4 receptions for 191.4 receiving yards per game to the position. If that wasn’t enough, Titans top corner Kristian Fulton has been ruled out. It would be a major surprise if Williams did not record at least 61 receiving yards against Tennessee. Click the More on Mike for Week 15.
Prediction: More

Miles Sanders (RB – PHI): 75.5 rushing yards
Miles Sanders has been rolling for the Eagles. He has run for 143 or more rushing yards in two of his last three games and is set to have gamescipt on his side once again against the Chicago Bears. Yes, Jalen Hurts siphoning carries is a concern, as is the fact that the line can be found at 68.5 on the market via our player prop tool. However, as detailed in the tool, our projection is 76.3 rushing yards for the Eagles starter. Chicago has allowed 23.8 carries for 114 rushing yards per game to the running back position this season, putting the scorching Sanders in an excellent position to hit the century mark again. The line is inflated, but form and our projections both suggest that the More lean is the way to go. Tap More on Miles for Week 15 at MonkeyKnifeFight.
Prediction: More

Josh Jacobs (RB – LV): 90.5 rushing yards
Josh Jacobs has been in his bag earning a bag this season, averaging a league-high 107.8 rushing yards per game. He has hit 99 or more rushing yards in each of his last four contests and shows no signs of slowing down, regardless of opponent. Jacobs will face a tough on-paper test this weekend against a New England Patriots team allowing just 80 rushing yards per game to the running back position. The Patriots have not exactly faced a collection of the best running backs the league has to offer this season, but have faced Nick Chubb, Aaron Jones, and Dalvin Cook. Chubb and Cook both got held under 52 rushing yards, while Jones ran for 110 while seeing one less carry than backfield mate A.J. Dillon, who took 17 carries for 73 yards. New England has allowed just one individual runner to hit over 90 rushing yards but have seen backfields combine for more on several occasions. New England is more vulnerable to the run than their average suggests, especially against a backfield dominated by one runner. Jacobs should get the carries to hit the More against New England, even if he runs for 3.67 yards per carry like he did last week. Jump on the More for Jacobs for Week 15.
