Fantasy Football Injury Updates

Tyler Lockett (finger) expected to undergo surgery, timetable unknown

Tyler Lockett is expected to have surgery to repair and stabilize his fractured finger.

Fantasy Impact

Rapoport added that it’s possible Lockett only misses one game and is back for the final two, but a firm timetable will be available post-surgery. In the meantime while Lockett is sidelined, Marquise Goodwin should step into Lockett’s role and can be a potential streamer for fantasy managers next week against the Chiefs.

Marquise Brown (illness) questionable for Week 15

Marquise Brown (illness) returned to practice in a limited capacity on Friday. He is officially questionable for Week 15 versus the Broncos.

Fantasy Impact

Brown’s status improved as the Cardinals closed out their week of practice, so while it would have been nice to see him log a full session, at least he’s trending in the right direction. If he plays, Brown would rank as a WR3 in fantasy football while catching passes from Colt McCoy.

Andersen Pickard

Treylon Burks (concussion) ruled out for Week 15

Treylon Burks has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Chargers.

Fantasy Impact

This was expected after Burks missed practice all week. Chigoziem Okonkwo becomes an intriguing tight end streamer again this week for fantasy managers.

Pat Freiermuth (foot) not listed on the injury report for Week 15

Pat Freiermuth was not listed on the injury report ahead of Sunday’s game against the Panthers.

Fantasy Impact

Freiermuth missed back-to-back practices on Wednesday and Thursday before logging a limited practice on Friday. He should be a safety blanket for whoever is undercenter for the Steelers between Mason Rudolph and Mitch Trubisky.
