Fantasy Football Injury Updates

Christian McCaffrey (knee) misses practice Wednesday

Christian McCaffrey missed practice on Wednesday for the 49ers.

Fantasy Impact

McCaffery was labeled day to day earlier in the week. He should be good to go on Sunday against the Dolphins, but his status will still need to be monitored on Thursday and Friday.

Matthew Stafford unlikely to play Sunday

Rams’ head coach Sean McVay stated it is “safe to say” that Matthew Stafford will not play Sunday.

Fantasy Impact

Stafford is not slated to practice Wednesday and he remains in the concussion protocol. McVay stated that Stafford has not had any setbacks in the concussion protocol. Fantasy managers should expect Bryce Perkins to likely start against the Seahawks Sunday.

Damien Harris officially ruled out for Thursday night

Damien Harris (thigh) has officially been ruled out for Thursday’s game against Buffalo.

Fantasy Impact

New England will be without a key part of their running game when they take on the Bills Thursday night. Harris was considered to be week-to-week with his thigh injury, so it is not a surprise that he will not suit up this week. Fantasy managers should expect Rhamondre Stevenson to see the bulk of the carries Thursday.

Najee Harris (oblique) sidelined at practice Wednesday

Najee Harris was sidelined at practice on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact

Harris left Monday’s game early and reportedly avoided a serious injury, but it is still likely he will be sidelined this week. Meanwhile, Jaylen Warren was cleared to return from his hamstring injury and practiced on Wednesday.
