Matthew Stafford missed the Rams’ Week 10 game against the Cardinals due to a concussion. Not only did Los Angeles lose the game 27-17, but now the defending champs will be without Super Bowl MVP Cooper Kupp for at least four weeks. Stafford is having one of the worst seasons of any QB the year after winning the championship; he has finished as a QB1 exactly once, in Week 2 against the Falcons. He seems to be back on track for a Week 11 return, but where do things stand? And should fantasy managers deploy them in their lineups? Here’s what we know.

Matthew Stafford (concussion) was a full participant in the Rams’ practice on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact
Stafford missed Los Angeles’ Week 10 loss to the Cardinals because he was in the league’s concussion protocol, but he practiced in full on Thursday and is expected to start on Sunday. The team will need him to play at a high level if they want to turn their season around and have a chance at a deep post-season run.

What the Experts Are Saying
Stafford is practicing in full and should be back under center this week. Unless you’re in a Superflex league and out of decent positional options with tangible upside, there’s no reason to look to Stafford. The Rams’ offense is a broken mess with a patchwork offensive line, a non-function run game, and now without their alpha wideout. Stafford is left surrounded by ruin and dusty receivers that can’t get open. New Orleans will stonewall his best-receiving option (Higbee). Stafford has five as the QB22 or lower in fantasy. This week will make six.
