Kyler Murray missed Week 10’s game against the Rams with a hamstring injury, which continues to linger leading up to the Cardinals’ Monday Night Football game against the 49ers. Arizona pulled out a win with Colt McCoy at the helm against a depleted Rams team, but fantasy managers aren’t planning to ride McCoy into the fantasy playoffs. Murray has finished as a QB1 in seven of the nine games in which he has played and is trending toward playing on Monday. Where do things stand? Here’s what we know.

Kyler Murray (hamstring) game-time decision for Week 11
Kyler Murray will be a game-time decision against the 49ers on Monday Night Football in Week 11.
Fantasy Impact
Murray continues to battle through an injured hamstring but according to HC Kliff Kingsbury he has “come a long way.” The game-time call means fantasy managers need to have a backup plan incase Murray needs another week to recover. Unfortunately for owners, the Cardinals play on Monday night this week.

What the Experts Are Saying
True game-time decision, but QB hamstring timelines + his practice progression compared to historical data give him a ~60% chance to play. If you’re planning to start him, you need to snag Colt McCoy or Jimmy Garoppolo as well since they’re going to be the only backup options available by the time Murray tests his hamstring out in pre-game warmups.
-Dr. Deepak Chona
Murray had 46 fantasy points in his last 2 games before missing Week 10 with a hamstring injury. If he plays this week, he should be QB2 that may not have as much mobility as normal.
