Keenan Allen made an appearance in Week 7, where he caught both targets for 11 yards, but he has otherwise been struggling with a hamstring injury since Week 1. Fantasy managers have likely been stashing him in the hopes he could return to his productive self before now. The Chargers have a difficult matchup against the Chiefs on Sunday Night Football, and Justin Herbert (and fantasy managers) would love to have a healthy Allen available to him. So will Keenan Allen play in Week 11? Here’s where things stand.

Keenan Allen (hamstring) questionable for Week 11
Keenan Allen (hamstring) upgraded to a full participant during Friday’s practice but is still listed as questionable ahead of Week 11 versus the Chiefs.
Fantasy Impact
Allen’s teammate, Mike Williams (ankle), is also questionable despite practicing in full. It appears that the team just wants to make sure the two receives respond well to a full practice and don’t have any setbacks. At this point, we can expect both to be active in Week 11.

What the Experts Are Saying
Allen was limited on Wednesday and Thursday in practice before recording a full session on Friday. Allen has been listed as questionable. We’ll see if he makes his return this week. If he does, he’ll run about 62% of his routes from the slot against L’Jarius Sneed (74% catch rate, 115.4 passer rating). The Chiefs have allowed the second-most fantasy points per game to slot wide receivers. Allen will be a risky WR3.
-Derek Brown
It looks like Allen is finally ready to return, but we’d avoid starting him before seeing him make it through a full game. Re-injury risks for hamstring strains that have already been re-aggravated in-season are very high, and a production hit of ~20% is typical of WRs in their first game back.
