I’m also happy with the results of last week’s article, with three of the top six overall players featured. That has me excited to keep rolling here, so let’s get started with the signal callers!

Quarterbacks
DraftKings
Matthew Stafford (LAR): $5,600 vs. ARI
This is a risky option, but Stafford is in the GPP section for a reason. He’s done nothing this year that excites us, but this pricing has dropped too far. This dude has been a $7K player throughout his career, and he’s still got the best receiver in football. He also plays for a team that can’t run the ball right now, and something tells me they’re going to lean on Stafford more than ever. They should against Arizona, allowing the sixth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season. In their three matchups last year, Stafford scored at least 24 DraftKings points in all of them.

Jacoby Brissett (CLE): $5,400 at MIA
Brissett is about to lose his job to Deshaun Watson in the coming weeks, but it’s not because of how he’s played. Jacoby has scored at least 15 DK points in five of his last seven games, generating a 16-point average in that span. That’s all you can ask for from such an affordable player, and that looks like his floor against a Miami team that’s surrendering the most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season.
FanDuel
Josh Allen (BUF): $9,200 vs. MIN
Allen’s ownership is going to be low. He’s nearly $1,000 more than any quarterback on this slate and enters this matchup with an elbow issue. However, we’re not really worried about that because he is the most consistent quarterback in the game. Allen has at least 24 FanDuel points in all but one outing, leading all signal-callers with a 28-point average. His elite consistency should continue against Minnesota, allowing the sixth-most yards in the NFL.
Trevor Lawrence (JAX): $7,000 at KC
This sophomore has struggled at times throughout his career, but this is an excellent spot for him to get right. Kansas City owns a 30th OPRK against opposing quarterbacks, and you know Lawrence will have to throw a ton to keep up with this elite offense. We love that since he’s attempting 35 passes across his last five games, scoring at least 21 FD points in there of his previous four outings.
In Consideration: Sam Ehlinger (IND): DK $5,000/FD $6,400 at LVR
The Raiders have one of the worst secondaries in the NFL, and Ehlinger is one of the cheapest options on the board. This is a home run swing, but we’re willing to take at least one whiff.
Running Backs
DraftKings
Saquon Barkley (NYG): $8,600 vs. HOU
I don’t care what sort of DFS game you’re playing; Barkley needs to be your first choice. This stud is having the breakout year we’ve been waiting for, ranked third among all backs with 21 DraftKings points per game. The matchup makes him a can’t-miss option, with the Texans ranked dead-last with 181 rushing yards allowed per game. That’s the worst mark by 40 yards, and we truly believe Barkley could be in for a career game.
Deon Jackson (IND): $5,400 at LVR
People will fade Jackson after his dud in Week 9, but that’d be a mistake if Jonathan Taylor sits. That game script killed DJ’s momentum, but we have to believe they’ll lean on him if Taylor is out once again. He had 41.2 combined DK points in the two games as a starter earlier this year, and he still picked up double-digit carries in last week’s disaster. Facing the Raiders should get him back on track, with Vegas owning a 26th opponent rank (OPRK) against opposing backs.
FanDuel
David Montgomery (CHI): $6,700 vs. DET
Everyone is scared of Montgomery because of Kahlil Herbert, but this dude is still the lead back in Chicago. He’s still played at least 70 percent of the team’s snaps in four of his last five games, picking up at least 14 carries in four straight outings. If he gets that role against Detroit, David should destroy the Lions. We say that because they’re allowing the second-most rushing yards in the NFL. That’s even better since DM has at least 22 FD points in two of his last three meetings with the Lions.
Najee Harris (PIT): $6,400 vs. NOS
This play will terrify most of you, but Pittsburgh needs to lean on their best player. That’s Najee, who’s still playing in over 70 percent of the team’s snaps. He was an $8K player in that role last year, and we’re hopeful that the BYE will force this team to change their ways. Game scripts have also killed Najee’s value, but this looks like it should be a close game against a subpar Saints defense. As long as we get the 15-20 carries we’re anticipating, Harris should never be this cheap.
In Consideration: Jerrick McKinnon (KC): DK $4,800/FD $5,500 vs. JAX
This KC backfield is driving fantasy managers nuts. That said, McKinnon picked up eight targets last week, playing in 62 percent of the teams’ snaps. No other back cracked 25 percent, making Mac an intriguing target in this $5K price range.
Wide Receivers
DraftKings
Amari Cooper (CLE): $6,500 at MIA
If we like Brissett, we have to adore his top target. That’s Coop, averaging 17 DraftKings points per game this year. That’s quite the total from a $6,500 player, and it looks even better since he’s scored at least 26 DK points in three outings. That ceiling is definitely in play against Miami, allowing the fifth-most receiving yards in the NFL.
Christian Kirk (JAX): $5,900 at KC
Kirk killed me in my home league last week, but he’s quietly been one of the steals in season-long drafts. The summer signee has scored at least 17 DK points five times this season en route to a 15-point average. That’s huge since Jacksonville will have to throw a ton to keep up with Kansas City, surrendering the third-most fantasy points to opposing receivers this season.
FanDuel
Stefon Diggs (BUF): $9,100 vs. MIN
There are five top-tier receivers, but Diggs is the best option of the bunch. This guy plays with a massive chip on his shoulder, and you know he’ll be hungry against the team that traded him. It happens to be a crappy secondary, too, with the Vikings owning a 26th OPRK against opposing wideouts. That’s bad news against a guy who’s averaging 20 FD points per game, the second-highest mark among all wide receivers.
Zay Jones (JAX): $5,500 at KC
These Jaguars are the sneakiest stack of the day. This passing attack is getting better by the week, and it’s hard to believe how cheap Jones is. The former Bill is playing in 97 percent of the team’s snaps since Week 6, picking up at least three receptions in every game. He’s also had at least eight targets four times, and you know he’ll reach that total again if Lawrence throws the 40 passes we’re anticipating.
In Consideration: Sammy Watkins (GB): DK $4,000/FD $5,100 vs. DAL
With Romeo Doubs going down last week, Watkins has played at least 79 percent of the team’s snaps in back-to-back weeks. We know he has the talent to be good, and Aaron Rodgers might have to get him more involved here.
Tight Ends
DraftKings
David Njoku (CLE): $4,100 at MIA
It sounds like Njoku is ready to return from injury, and we love him in this spot. He’s developed into the second option in Cleveland, averaging 12 DK points per game. Most of that damage has come recently, with Njoku picking up at least six targets in five straight games while picking up at least 58 receiving yards in all of those. That’s incredible from a player barely cracking $4,000, especially since he faces a Miami team that allows the second-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends.
FanDuel
Dalton Schultz (DAL): $5,500 at GB
Schultz was a Top-5 pick in season-long drafts, and it’s incredible how quickly people forget that. He was terrible in his time without Dak Prescott but has at least five catches in the two games since Dak’s return. That’s the stud we saw at the end of last season, and it’s just a matter of time before Dalton is above $6K with this sort of role.
In Consideration: Robert Tonyan (GB): DK $3,700/FD $5,000 vs. DAL
Tonyan has been playing over 60 percent of the team’s snaps since Week 6, and they’ll need more out of him with Doubs injured among this lackluster receiving core.
Defense/Special Teams
DraftKings
Tennessee Titans D/ST: $3,200 vs. DEN
The Broncos rank 30th in the NFL with 15.1 points per game. That’s why Vegas loves Tennessee in this spot, with Denver projected for just 17 points. We were really impressed with how this defense looked on Sunday Night against an elite Kansas City offense, and they should have their way with Russell Wilson and this disastrous Denver offense.

New Orleans Saints D/ST: $3,900 at PIT
The Saints have been the best pass defense in the NFL over the last two weeks, allowing fewer than 150 passing yards in both of those outings. That’s terrible news for this pitiful Pittsburgh passing attack, ranked 31st in points scored and 28th in total yardage. Kenny Pickett is not ready to play at this level, and we believe the Saints will beat him up all afternoon.
In Consideration: Denver Broncos D/ST: DK $3,000/FD $4,700 at TEN
Denver has a Top-5 defense, and they should roll if Malik Willis is behind center again. He completed just five passes in an overtime game on Sunday night.
