Welcome to Monkey Knife Fight. Monkey Knife Fight is one of the more intriguing entrants in the DFS arena. Instead of the traditional salary cap based contests, Monkey Knife Fight allows DFS players to put their fantasy football knowledge and predictive powers to the test.
They offer fantasy point and stat-based contests. Perhaps the most appealing of all of their offerings is the ‘More or Less’ contests. In these contests, you can choose whether a player will fall above or below totals for a preset combination of two to 10 players. Your win probability obviously goes down with the more players you add, but you receive an increased payout multiplier in exchange.
Since Monkey Knife Fight’s fantasy point and stat-based totals are dynamic, meaning the total, total type, and pairings change throughout the week, it is important to search for favorable and advantageous total pairings to exploit on a daily basis. Ideally, when choosing a total pairing, you want to feel extremely confident on one of the totals and feel strongly enough about the other total to proceed. This week we will take a look at two of the ‘More’ options that stood out the most for Week 12. Note that these are not locked in pairings, and may no longer be offered by the time you log in to make your picks.

Plays of the week
Kenneth Walker (RB – SEA): 75.5 rushing yards
Kenneth Walker ran into the buzzsaw known as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive front in Week 10 but should bounce back in a major way in Week 12. Heading into Week 10, Walker was averaging 102.4 rushing yards per game since Rashaad Penny went down. He has looked the part of one of the top runners in the NFL, and it has become apparent why the Michigan State Spartans leaned on him so heavily as the centerpiece of their offense. Walker should have gamescript on his side against a hapless Las Vegas Raiders team and has an excellent opportunity to hit at least 76 rushing yards, something he has done in four of the six games since Penny was lost for the season. Las Vegas has allowed 90.8 rushing yards per game to the running back position, a number that jumps to 108.25 rushing yards per game when facing the top-10 runner types they have faced this season. Plug Walker into lineups for those looking to play the late slate for Week 12 at MonkeyKnifeFight.

Travis Etienne (RB – JAC): 75.5 rushing yards
Travis Etienne has been on fire since becoming the starter for the Jacksonville Jaguars, averaging a whopping 102 rushing yards per game. He has crossed 76 rushing yards in all but one of his starts and looks to be in a position to do so once again this weekend. Etienne has a tough on-paper matchup against a Baltimore Ravens team surrendering just 70.8 rushing yards per game to the running back position. However, deeper analysis reveals that the Ravens have been a little more susceptible to the ground attack when facing the better backs that the league has to offer, allowing 81.5 rushing yards per game to the RB1 types they have faced this season. One of the top offerings on the board for the early slate at MonkeyKnifeFight, tap the More Etienne wherever possible.
