Fantasy Football Injury Updates
Cooper Kupp (ankle) will play Sunday
Cooper Kupp (ankle) will be active for Sunday’s game vs the Buccaneers.
Fantasy Impact
This is great news after Kupp injured his ankle late in Week 8’s game against the 49ers. While he has been limited in practice throughout the week, expect Kupp to produce as usual.
Jonathan Taylor out for Week 9
Head coach Frank Reich reported that Jonathan Taylor is out for Week 9’s game against New England.
Fantasy Impact
Taylor tweaked his ankle in Week 8 and hasn’t been able to get right, sitting out the week of practice. Hopefully, fantasy managers who roster him have held on to a good backup for Week 9. With Nyheim Hines in Buffalo, it is Deon Jackson’s backfield with newly-acquired Zack Moss behind him.
Ryan Tannehill (ankle) to be a game time decision Sunday
Ryan Tannehill (ankle) was a limited participant in Friday’s practice and will be a game-time decision for Sunday’s game vs the Chiefs
Fantasy Impact
Tannehill didn’t practice on Thursday but did take a step in being able to practice in some capacity Friday. It will be a tricky situation for fantasy managers with the Titans playing on Sunday night, so they will need to prepare accordingly. Malik Willis would step in to start once again if Tannehill is out.
Mark Andrews (shoulder, knee) remains out of practice on Friday
Mark Andrews recorded a second straight DNP on Friday ahead of the Ravens’ Week 9 matchup with the Saints.
Fantasy Impact
Andrews now has just a couple days left to log some practice time this week, but it is looking like he is truly questionable for Monday. The Ravens may believe that they can beat the Saints without the need for Andrews’ services, resulting in them holding him out of the game entirely. Andrews’ status needs to be closely monitored leading up to game time, as it cannot be taken for granted right now.
