Fantasy Football Injury Updates

Jonathan Taylor (ankle) practicing Thursday

Jonathan Taylor (ankle) was present for Colts’ practice on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact

Taylor has practiced for two consecutive days and appears to be on track to play this week. Taylor missed the Colts’ loss in Week 9 due to an ankle injury and his return is important to a Colts team looking to get back in the win column. Fantasy managers will want to keep an eye on his status on the final practice report before they play the Raiders Sunday.

Josh Allen (elbow) not practicing Thursday

Josh Allen (elbow) was not practicing Thursday during the open portion of practice.

Fantasy Impact

Allen is dealing with a UCL injury that could cause him to miss this Sunday’s matchup with the Vikings. Allen likely does not need practice time to stay in rhythm with his pass catchers, but his status for this week is greatly in question. In the event Allen is unable to play, backup Case Keenum will draw the start.

Darren Waller placed on IR Thursday

Darren Waller (hamstring) was placed on injured reserve Thursday. He will miss at least the next four games.

Fantasy Impact

The move comes after Waller recently aggravated his hamstring injury. The 30-year-old last played in Week 4 and has had issues with the hamstring injury since the team’s win over the Broncos. Fantasy managers will have to continue to utilize a replacement and hope Waller can come back before the fantasy playoffs.

Mecole Hardman (abdominal soreness) misses practice Thursday

Mecole Hardman (abdominal soreness) missed practice for the Kansas City Chiefs Thursday.

Fantasy Impact

Hardman has now missed practice on consecutive days for the Chiefs although it does not seem like the issue should keep the wideout from playing in Week 10. Hardman is a solid WR2 option and has found the end zone in four consecutive games, flashing some upside for fantasy owners.
