Fantasy Football Injury Updates

Josh Allen limited Friday, questionable for Sunday

The Buffalo Bills have officially listed QB Josh Allen as questionable for Sunday after logging his first practice this week on Friday, limited.

Fantasy Impact

Allen missed the first two practices of the week with an elbow injury he suffered in Week 9. He is now questionable to play, so Allen managers should stay tuned for any further updates. If Allen misses, QB Case Keenum is likely the backup for Buffalo.

Mecole Hardman out for Sunday versus Jaguars

According to ESPN NFL Nation’s Adam Teicher, WR Mecole Hardman is out for Kansas City this week against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Fantasy Impact

Hardman has been used as a dynamic weapon for the Chiefs this season, scoring six touchdowns from scrimmage. With Hardman out due to abdominal soreness, there’s a chance the Chiefs could utilize new WR Kadarius Toney in a similar role with the dynamism he provides. The Chiefs passing weapons all receive slight upgrades against the Jaguars.

Brandin Cooks listed as questionable for Week 10

The Houston Texans have officially listed WR Brandin Cooks as questionable for Week 10 against the New York Giants with a wrist injury.

Fantasy Impact

Cooks was a non-participant in practice on Wednesday, but he practiced in a limited capacity on both Thursday and Friday. This seems to be a sign that Cooks and the Texans’ relationship may be on the mend and he will be a part of the team going forward after nearly being dealt at the trade deadline. Cooks has 32 catches for 354 yards this season.

Keenan Allen (hamstring) ruled out for Week 10

Keenan Allen has been ruled out ahead of Sunday’s game against the 49ers.

Fantasy Impact

Allen missed practice all week and will miss a second straight game after suffering a setback during the Chargers bye week. His status remains up in the air for Week 11 as well. In the meantime, Josh Palmer, Gerald Everett and DeAndre Carter all see a bump in value for fantasy managers this week.
