Damien Harris was off to a good start this season before a hamstring injury derailed his productivity, and he missed Week 6 altogether. Fantasy Impact
Harris has now logged full practice sessions on consecutive days for the Patriots and looks likely to return for the team in a Week 7 Monday night matchup against the Chicago Bears. The running back is a touchdown-dependent flex option as part of a New England backfield in which he will share touches with Rhamondre Stevenson.
What the Experts are Saying
Harris has practiced in full all week and looks to be returning this week. In Weeks 1-4, Harris averaged 15.6 touches and 68.8 total yards. He finished as a top-24 running back in three of four games (RB6, RB22, RB16). Harris is 28th in yards after contact per attempt and 41st in PFF’s elusive rating (minimum 15 carries). The Bears are a beautiful matchup for this ground game. Chicago has allowed the sixth-highest rush success rate while also ranking 29th in rushing yards per game and 28th in explosive run rate allowed. Harris is a lock for 15-20 touches as an RB2/3.
