Chris Olave has quickly established himself as the top receiver in the New Orleans offense with Michael Thomas unable to stay on the field consistently. The wideout has largely done it through his air yards production, already serving as one of the best deep ball threats in the league as a rookie. However, he was forced to leave last week’s matchup with the Seahawks after suffering a concussion on the same play he caught a touchdown pass. There’s no doubt that Olave is a solid fantasy option when he’s on the field, but will he be able to suit up against the Bengals in Week 6? Here’s what we know.

Chris Olave (concussion) practiced in full on Friday. He is officially listed as questionable for Week 6 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Fantasy Impact
Olave has seen his practice participation improve each day this week, which is a great sign for his availability on Sunday. With Michael Thomas (foot) and Jarvis Landry (ankle) ruled out, look for Olave to lead the Saints’ receiving corps once again in Week 6.

Olave has been listed as questionable (concussion) for Week 6. If Olave can gain clearance before Sunday he should get peppered. Olave has seen a 25.8% target share (21st) and 28.8% target per route run rate (16th). He’s first in air yards and deep targets among wide receivers. Olave is also eighth in PFF receiving grade and 11th in yards per route run (minimum ten targets). He’s a strong WR2/3 if he suits up. Olave will run about 77% of his routes against Chidobe Awuzie (42.4% catch rate, 61.4 passer rating) and Eli Apple (66.7% catch rate, 87.8 passer rating.
