Week 6 started with another slow Thursday night game. However, this Sunday’s slate looks to provide us with fireworks and some great stacks to cash in our lineups.
With byes beginning, we must know there is a smaller player pool to choose from this Sunday. Therefore, I won’t waste your time explaining Josh Allen with Stefon Diggs or Patrick Mahomes with Travis Kelce. Although we know they are excellent plays in a game where they face each other, this article will focus on other stacks this week that can help elevate your lineup.
Let’s break down these multiple versions of stacks, starting with one of my favorite plays this week from the Cardinals vs Seahawks game.

Week 6 Stacking Advice & Strategy
Kyler Murray + Eno Benjamin + Will Dissly (QB/RB – ARI, TE – SEA)
We start with the most crucial position on the field: quarterback. Murray has a chance to break the slate in this high over/under. He faces s defense that allows the fifth-most touchdowns to the position. The Seahawks also allow the tenth most passing yards to quarterbacks.
The Seahawks are beatable on the ground as well. Their defense is tied for the second-most rushing touchdowns to quarterbacks. These stats align perfectly with Murray’s talents, and we should be able to unlock the full potential of the Konami Code quarterback in this game.
When Murray isn’t taking over the game, expect Benjamin to get a fair share of targets. James Conner and Darrel Williams will miss the game Sunday due to injury. Benjamin could see an uptick in volume this weekend given these injuries. As I tweeted earlier in the week, he has a great opportunity against a shaky Seahawks defense to reach his max potential.
With the Cardinals’ side of the ball figured out for our DFS lineup, we now turn to the Seahawks where we find ourselves with a cheap and potentially slate-changing option at tight end with Will Dissly. The Cardinals defense is atrocious against tight ends. They have allowed the most yards to the position and the fourth most touchdowns. The only team that allows more fantasy points per game to the tight end is the Seahawks.
The difference between Dissly and his counterpart Zach Ertz is the easier path to 3x your salary with total points. Either play, when it comes to these tight ends, can work, but with this high total point potential, building your lineup with a piece from both teams is optimal.
Geno Smith + Tyler Lockett (QB + WR – SEA)
If you aren’t willing to pay a bit more for a quarterback, you can reach deeper down the well to Smith. On Draftkings, Geno is priced lower than Deshaun Watson and Tua Tagovailoa. Neither of those quarterbacks will play this week.
Smith has been torching the NFL so far, and the Cardinals are the furthest thing from a juggernaut regarding defensive ability. Smith could be a cheap start in your lineup this weekend, especially when you pair him with Lockett.
We were nervous about Lockett this season, but he has become the safety blanket for the resurgent Smith. In three of his first five games, Lockett has surpassed eight targets. He has also gained 75 or more yards in every game since Week 2. Lockett has a rare combination of the high floor and ceiling within this offense this year.
Rhamondre Stevenson (Cash)/ Pierre Strong (GPP) + Patriots D/ST (RB + D/ST – NE)
With Damien Harris missing the game, the Patriots running backs should be included in your player pool. The Browns have allowed the fourth-most rushing yards this year. They have also allowed the second-most rushing touchdowns. With the Browns sitting at the third most fantasy points per game allowed to the position, these backs should show out for your lineup this weekend.
So, why am I recommending one running back in cash while wanting a different one in tournaments?
Stevenson’s roster percentage is above 30 percent according to reports at the time of writing. In cash, this doesn’t matter, as we are trying to make the strongest lineup possible with less variance in the score. However, in tournament play, we are looking for the ability to get a bit different while still taking advantage of the matchups. Strong is that contrarian play, as he brings a basement-level salary but a chance to easily 3x or 4x your position.
We love to pair our defense with one of our running backs. The best play comes from this game. The O/U from Vegas is sitting at 43.5 points with two top-ten teams in rushing attempts per game. With QB Bailey Zappe on one side and Jacoby Brissett on the other, the passing offense should be at a minimum in this contest. Bill Belichick should be able to scheme up pressure against Brissett, leading to extra fantasy points this weekend.
Dalvin Cook + Vikings D/ST (RB + D/ST – MIN)
Cook is a talented player. Whenever we get the chance to use him in our lineups, we take it. He will be up against a Dolphins defense tied for the fourth most rushing touchdowns allowed to running backs so far this season. The game script should also lean in the Vikings’ favor considering Skylar Thompson is receiving his first NFL start under center for the Dolphins.
With Thompson starting, Cook is in line for a potentially juicy game script, and so are his defensive teammates. Thompson was the 247th pick in this year’s NFL draft. This should be a game where the inexperience at QB will come back to haunt the Dolphins’ offense and lead to a potential of higher turnovers created by the Vikings’ defense. This play is high risk due to the weapons on the Dolphins’ offense, but it could also deliver a high reward.
